Torab (Persian : تراب‎, also Romanized as Torāb; also known as Torābābād)^[1] is a village in Hoseynabad Rural District, in the Central District of Anar County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 382, in 99 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Hoseynabad Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Anar County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,394, in 1,561 families. The rural district has 25 villages.

The Central District of Anar County is a district (bakhsh) in Anar County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 31,554, in 7,803 families. The District has two cities: Anar and Aminshahr. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Bayaz Rural District and Hoseynabad Rural District.
