Noiseworks are an Australian hard rock band formed in Sydney in 1986 with bass guitarist Steve Balbi, guitarist Stuart Fraser, drummer Kevin Nicol, keyboardist Justin Stanley and lead vocalist Jon Stevens. They had four Australian Top 10 albums, Noiseworks (1987), Touch (1988), Love Versus Money (1991) and Greatest Hits (1992). They produced three Top 10 singles, "Take Me Back", "Touch" and "Hot Chilli Woman" before disbanding in 1992. Reunion tours occurred in 1999, 2004, 2007–2008, 2011, 2013. The band has reformed in 2016 and in August 2022, released "Heart & Soul"; their first new song in 30 years.
Jon Stevens is a New Zealand singer, best known for his work with Noiseworks and Jesus Christ Superstar.
"I Get Up" was a song by Australian rock band INXS, released as a non-album single on November 10, 2003. The song was written by Andrew Farriss and Jon Stevens. It was the first new material from INXS since their former frontman, Michael Hutchence, committed suicide on November 22, 1997. The lead singer on "I Get Up" is former Noiseworks frontman Jon Stevens. It is the only studio recorded material by INXS with Stevens singing. Stevens resigned from INXS by the end of 2003 because of "differing views" about the bands' future.
"Touch Me" is a song by Portuguese house music producer Rui da Silva and British singer-songwriter Cassandra Fox. The song began to gain popularity after being played in dance clubs in October 2000. The track was originally scheduled for release in December 2000, but it was postponed to avoid competing with songs that would experience sales surges resulting from the Christmas holiday period. It was eventually released on 1 January 2001.

In 2012, Jade won the fourth season of The X Factor Australia, the first woman to win the Australian series. Stephen Vert Balbi is an Australian musician and record producer. He was the founding bass guitarist in pub rockers, Noiseworks in 1986 and formed a psychedelic pop group and production duo, Electric Hippies in 1993 with fellow Noiseworks member, Justin Stanley. He joined Mi-Sex in 2011. Balbi issued his debut solo album, Black Rainbow, in October 2013.
"Can't Touch It" is a song by Australian singer and songwriter Ricki-Lee Coulter. It was written by Coulter with Brian Kierulf and Joshua M. Schwartz of KNS Productions, who also produced the song. "Can't Touch It" was released as the lead single from Coulter's second studio album Brand New Day on 4 August 2007. Upon its release, "Can't Touch It" peaked at number two on the ARIA Singles Chart and number one on the ARIA Dance Singles Chart, where it remained for eight consecutive weeks.
