Traveen Mathew (born 14 June 2004) is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler. He was educated at St. Anthony's College,Kandy. He made his first debut in the news as an upcoming cricketer when he was invited by the Rajasthan Royals for a tryout camp in Janury 2022. [1] He made his first-class debut for Panadura Sports Club in the 2023 Major League Tournament on 13 November 2023.
He was included in the Sri Lanka squad for the 2021 ACC Under-19 Asia Cup, [2] taking six wickets across five matches with an economy rate of 3.57. [1] In June 2023,he was selected to play for the Dambulla Aura following the auction for the 2023 Lanka Premier League. [3]
In November 2024,he was drafted by the Jaffna Titans for the inaugural edition of the Lanka T10 Super League [4] and went on to become the highest wicket-taker in the tournament. [5] His best bowling was 4/10 off two overs in a win against Hambantota Bangla Tigers. [6] He also took three wickets against Colombo Jaguars including the scalps of former Sri Lanka national team captain Angelo Mathews. [7] Mathew was named as the competition's best bowler and emerging player. [8]
Angelo Davis Mathews is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer and a former captain of the national cricket team in all formats. Mathews plays all formats for Sri Lanka. Mathews was a member of the team that won the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 and was part of the team that made the finals of 2011 Cricket World Cup,2009 ICC World Twenty20 and 2012 ICC World Twenty20. Mathews and Lasith Malinga hold the record for the highest ninth wicket partnership in ODI cricket.

In 2019,he became only the second batsman after Arthur Fagg to score double centuries in both innings of any first class match. Perera retired from international cricket in January 2022,having last playing for the national team in 2019.
Narangoda Liyanaarachchige Thisara Chirantha Perera,popularly as Thisara Perera,is a former Sri Lankan international cricketer who played all formats for the national team. He also captained the team in limited-overs formats. Domestically he plays for Sri Lanka Army Sports Club in the Premier Trophy and Premier Limited-Overs Tournament,and the Jaffna Stallions in the Lanka Premier League. Perera has played franchise T20 cricket all around the world for numerous leagues. Primarily a bowling all-rounder,he is an aggressive left-handed batsman who can hit big sixes in death overs and is a useful right-arm medium-fast bowler.
Aththachchi Nuwan Pradeep Roshan Fernando,commonly known as Nuwan Pradeep,is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer. Despite being a national cricketer,he had never actually played the game until he was 20 and most importantly never played with leather ball until his 20s. He shot into prominence after winning a bowling speed contest in 2007 and he was sent to Sri Lanka's Cricket Academy and also went onto earn a national test call up less than 3 years later. Pathira Vasan Dushmantha Chameera,better known as Dushmantha Chameera,is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for all three formats for the national team,He is a Right-arm fast bowler and also a handy lower order batsman. He plays cricket domestically for Nondescripts Cricket Club. He made his international debut for Sri Lanka in January 2015. He is currently the most experienced fast bowler in the Sri Lanka Cricket team. He missed many opportunities to play for Sri Lanka due to his injuries.
