Travis Montague Dowlin (born 24 February 1977) is a Guyanese former cricketer who represented Guyana,West Indies A and the West Indies in Tests,One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals. He was a right-handed batsman and part-time off break bowler.
On 13 January 2007 he was named in the 30-man provisional squad for the 2007 Cricket World Cup but was not selected in the final squad of 15.
Dowlin made his Test debut on 9 July 2009. He was part of an under-strength team fielded by the West Indies against Bangladesh;the 15-man squad included nine uncapped players and seven West Indies players made their Test debut in the match. The side was captained by Floyd Reifer who had played the last of his four Tests ten years earlier. The first XI had made themselves unavailable due to a pay dispute with the West Indies Cricket Board. [1]
After scoring an unbeaten century against Bangladesh in just his second ODI at Roseau, [2] Dowlin was also named in an understrength squad that travelled to South Africa to compete in the 2009 ICC Champions Trophy and played all three matches as the West Indies exited the competition at the group stage.
Dowlin subsequently kept his place in the West Indian squad for the tour to Australia,where he played in the first and third Tests in Brisbane and Perth.
His wicket was taken by MS Dhoni in the 2009 ICC Champions Trophy,Dhoni's only wicket in international cricket. [3]
The ICC Champions Trophy is a One-Day International (ODI) cricket tournament organised by the International Cricket Council or ICC. Inaugurated in 1998,The ICC conceived the idea of the Champions Trophy –a short cricket tournament to raise funds for the development of the game in non-test playing countries. It remains as one of those ICC events that had the same format as that of another big cricketing event,like the Cricket World Cup,with the format being One Day Internationals.

Jerome Everton Taylor is a Jamaican cricketer who has played as a fast bowler for the West Indies. Taylor eventually picked up 100 wickets for the Windies in both tests and odis. During 2017 he reversed an initial decision to retire from international cricket. Taylor has also featured for Jamaica,English sides Somerset,Leicestershire and Sussex,CPL teams St Lucia Zouks and Jamaica Tallawahs and IPL sides Pune Warriors and Mumbai Indians in his cricketing career. Taylor was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2016 T20 World Cup. He is the only bowler to have ever taken a hat-trick in a Champions Trophy match,which he did in the 2006 tournament against Australia,and that was the first hat-trick taken by a West Indian bowler in the ODI format.

A left-handed batsman,he played for Ireland from 2006 to 2022,and has captained Ireland at all levels from Under-13 and is considered one of the greatest Irish cricketers of all time. The 1998 ICC KnockOut trophy was a One Day International cricket tournament held in Bangladesh. It was the first tournament apart from the World Cups to involve all Test-playing nations. New Zealand defeated Zimbabwe in a pre-quarter-final match to qualify for the main knockout stage. Future editions of this tournament are now known as the ICC Champions Trophy. Appearing in their only major tournament final,South Africa defeated the West Indies in the final to win the event.
