Trayvon Palmer (born November 13, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Marinos de Oriente of the Superliga Profesional de Baloncesto (SPB). He played college basketball for the North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) and Chicago State University.
Palmer played one season of junior college basketball for NDSCS, averaging 13.3 points and 10.1 rebounds per game in the 2013–14 season. He then transferred to NCAA Division I Chicago State. [1] He averaged 9.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game as a junior. [2] As a senior, Palmer averaged 15.1 points and 9.4 rebounds per game and earned Chicago State's Student-Athlete of the Year honors. Palmer began his professional career in 2017 with the Worcester Wolves of the British Basketball League. [4] [5] After a year in England, in which he averaged 14.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game, he returned to the United States.
Palmer joined the NBA G League, signing with the Santa Cruz Warriors on November 28, 2018. [6]
After averaging 8.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in two games, he was acquired by the Northern Arizona Suns in December 2018. [7] Palmer moved with the team to Detroit as the team became the Motor City Cruise in 2021. [8] He averaged 11.1 points and six rebounds per game for the Cruise. [9]
On December 28, 2021, Palmer was signed to a 10-day contract by the Detroit Pistons of the NBA under league hardship exceptions concerning COVID-19. [9] He made his NBA debut the following day in a 94–85 loss to the New York Knicks, grabbing two rebounds. [10]
On January 3, 2022, Palmer was reassigned to the Motor City Cruise. [11] He then was placed there at the expiration of his 10-day contract.
On February 20, 2024, Palmer signed with the Marinos de Oriente of the Superliga Profesional de Baloncesto. [12]

Ben Camey Wallace is an American basketball executive and former professional player who played most of his career in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the Detroit Pistons. Nicknamed "Big Ben", he is often regarded as the greatest undrafted player in NBA history, and was known for his shot-blocking, rebounding, and overall defensive play. A native of Alabama, Wallace attended Cuyahoga Community College and Virginia Union University. In his NBA career, he also played with the Washington Bullets/Wizards, Orlando Magic, Chicago Bulls, and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Gregory Keith Monroe Jr. is an American former professional basketball player who is a player development coach for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 2010 NBA draft with the seventh overall pick and became the last Pistons player to wear the number 10 jersey, as the Pistons retired the number for Dennis Rodman in 2011. In his freshman season at Georgetown University, Monroe was named Big East Rookie of the Year.

In the 1993 NBA draft, the Pistons selected Lindsey Hunter out of Jackson State with the tenth overall pick, and selected Allan Houston from the University of Tennessee with the eleventh overall pick. During the off-season, the Pistons acquired Sean Elliott from the San Antonio Spurs, signed free agent Greg Anderson, and hired Don Chaney as head coach.
