Triathlon England is the national governing body and membership association for triathlon, duathlon and other multisports in England. It is a member of the British Triathlon Federation, the other members being Triathlon Scotland and Welsh Triathlon. [1] [2]

Triathlon England aims to promote and develop the sports of triathlon, duathlon and other multisports in England, and to encourage participation in them. [3] Triathlon England has developed a club structure for triathlon and is responsible for competitions—including the Triathlon England National Championships and Regional Junior Series—and for team selection and training of the England representative squad for international competitions. Sport in Jersey

In its own right Jersey participates in the Commonwealth Games and in the bi-annual Island Games, which it last hosted in 2015. Jersey is a founder member of the Island Games Association and has participated in every Games since the first in 1985. Jersey first competed in 1958 in the British Empire and Commonwealth Games and has since participated in every staging of what became the Commonwealth Games. Youth sports participation includes the Commonwealth Youth Games and Jeux des Isles.

The ITU Duathlon World Championships have been held annually since 1990. The championships involve a continuous run-cycle-run, with the format since 1994 being a first run of 10 km, a cycle of 40 km and a second run of 5 km. The championships are organised by the International Triathlon Union (ITU).

Welsh Triathlon is the national governing body and membership association for triathlon, duathlon and other multisports in Wales. It is a member of the British Triathlon Federation, the other members being Triathlon England and Triathlon Scotland.

Jonny Brownlee

Jonathan Callum Brownlee is a British professional duathlete and triathlete. He was the 2012 Triathlon World Champion, and the silver medalist in 2013 and 2016.

British Triathlon Federation

The British Triathlon Federation is the national governing body for triathlon, duathlon and associated multisport in Great Britain. It administers triathlon in England, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. It represents Britain at the world body, the International Triathlon Union (ITU) and the regional body the European Triathlon Union (ETU). The BTF also selects athletes to represent the national team, at races such as the world triathlon series and the Olympic games.

Rachel Klamer Dutch triathlete

Chris Mosier American triathlete (born 1980)

Chris Mosier is an American transgender advocate and triathlete. He started his athletic career before transitioning, started his transition in 2010, and in 2015 earned a spot on the Team USA sprint duathlon men's team for the 2016 World Championship, making him the first known out trans athlete to join a U.S. national team different from his sex at birth.

Jessica Learmonth is a British triathlete. Learmonth is a European, Commonwealth and World Triathlon Series medal winner based in Leeds, England where she trains at the Leeds Triathlon Centre. She won the European Triathlon Championship in 2017 and took silver in 2018. She competed in the women's event and the mixed relay at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, winning silver medals in both disciplines. Learmonth won silver in the 2019 World Triathlon Series.

Georgia Taylor-Brown British triathlete

Georgia Taylor-Brown is a British triathlete. Having won Bronze in the 2018 and 2019 World Triathlon Series, Taylor Brown won the one-off sprint triathlon race in Hamburg that constituted the 2020 World Triathlon Championship, becoming the fifth British woman to become world champion. Georgia Taylor-Brown is based in Leeds, England where she trains at the Leeds Triathlon Centre. She was born in Manchester, England.

Susan Bradley-Cox is a triathlete from Paducah, Kentucky. She was named to the USA Triathlon Hall of Fame in 2011. She is the only athlete to be a member of Team USA who participated at the International Triathlon Union (ITU) Age group Olympic-distance World championships consecutively from 1989 to 2010. In total, she competed in 22 ITU world championship events, winning a total 18 medals and 11 age group world titles. She won gold medals for the 50–54, 65–69, and 70–74 female age group. Bradley-Cox was named USA Triathlon Grand Masters Athlete of the Year in 1997 and 1998 and was selected as Masters Triathlete of the Year by Triathlete magazine in 1997.

Sophie Coldwell is a British triathlete. She competed in the women's event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. and has achieved several medals in International Triathlon Union (ITU) and European Triathlon Union (ETU) Championships. Sophie Coldwell is based in Loughborough, England.

George Peasgood is a British paratriathlete who competes in the PTS5 classification. He represented Great Britain at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio, where he finished seventh. Peasgood has won the GBR Paratriathlon National Championships four times- 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019. George Peasgood is based in Loughborough, England where he trains at the Loughborough Performance Centre. He was born in Saffron Walden, Essex.

Alex Yee is a British professional triathlete and distance runner.

Thomas Bishop is a British triathlete. He has represented England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and finished in 7th place in the 2017 ITU World Triathlon Series overall standings. Originally from Derby, Bishop graduated from the University of Leeds and is now based in the city, training at the Leeds Triathlon Centre. He was part of the British mixed relay team that won gold at the 2016 Lisbon ETU European Championships and has achieved a number of podiums on both the international and European triathlon circuits, including silver at the ITU World Triathlon Abu Dhabi 2017.

Sarah Coope is a British former professional triathlete and current triathlon coach.
