The Velvet Underground & Nico is the debut album by American rock band the Velvet Underground, released in March 1967 by Verve Records. It was recorded in 1966 while the band were featured on Andy Warhol's Exploding Plastic Inevitable tour, which gained attention for its experimental performance sensibilities and controversial lyrical topics, including drug abuse, prostitution, sadomasochism and sexual deviancy.
Panama disease is a plant disease that infects banana plants. It is a wilting disease caused by the fungus Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense (Foc). The pathogen is resistant to fungicides and until now, its control is limited to phytosanitary measures. Although a transgenic banana cultivar that proved resistant to Panama disease has been recently developed, it is not commercially available yet.
"La Isla Bonita" is a song by American singer Madonna from her third studio album True Blue (1986). She and Patrick Leonard co-wrote and co-produced the song, and Bruce Gaitsch provided additional songwriting. Sire Records released it as the album's final single on February 25, 1987. The instrumental version of the song was first offered to Michael Jackson before Madonna both accepted it and wrote the lyrics and melody. "La Isla Bonita" is noted for being the first Madonna song to contain Latino influences, with arrangements of Cuban drums and Spanish guitar, maracas, harmonicas and a mix of synthesized and real drumming. The lyrics of the song tell about a beautiful island and according to Madonna, was a tribute to the beauty of the Latinos.
That's the Way Love Is is the tenth studio album by soul musician Marvin Gaye, released on January 8, 1970, on the Tamla (Motown) label. Built on the success of the title track originally taken from M.P.G., and much like Gaye's "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" after its success, was released with intent to sell albums based on the success of one particular single. Gaye was showing signs of disillusionment from the label's powers-that-be mentality but it didn't affect the singer's performance as he gave a powerful vocal in the title track and was especially impressive with his version of The Beatles' "Yesterday". He achieved some success with a cover version of "How Can I Forget?", which just missed out on the US Pop Top 40, making #41, and reached #18 on the R&B Charts. It's B-Side, a cover of Jimmy Ruffin's "Gonna Give Her All the Love I've Got", made a separate chart entry, and peaked at #67 and #27 on the Pop and Soul Charts respectively. Gaye also recorded a version of Ruffin's "Don't You Miss Me a Little Bit Baby" for the album. The LP also features Gaye's rendition of the socially conscious tune "Abraham, Martin & John", which became a hit in the UK, peaking at #9 in June 1970. The single is widely regarded as a hint of what would follow a year later with his What's Going On. He also covered The Temptations' hits "I Wish It Would Rain" and "Cloud Nine".
Wadada Magic is the second studio album by the band Suns of Arqa, recorded and released in 1983 by Antler Records. The album was produced by Suns of Arqa founder Michael Wadada.

Increased Damnation is a compilation album by the Norwegian black metal band Aura Noir. It includes their first mini-album Dreams Like Deserts. Released Damnation and Broth of Oblivion also appear on Deep Tracts of Hell but are different recordings than on the album. The tracks 5 to 8 are songs from Black Thrash Attack played live. Tower of Limbs and Fever is the first song by Aura Noir ever recorded.
"My Generation" is a song by the American rap rock band Limp Bizkit. It was released in October 2000 as a single from the album Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water. The song was released as the first single simultaneously with "Rollin' ".

"Water Runs Dry" is a 1995 single by Boyz II Men for the Motown label, written and produced by Babyface. The single, number four from the album II, reached number 2 in the United States and number 24 in the UK. It also contains a version of the group's previous number one hit from the same album, "I'll Make Love To You". A Spanish version, "No Dejemos Que Muera el Amor", was also recorded and peaked at #10 on the Latin Pop Airplay chart.

Of Thick Tum is the first album by Trumans Water. BBC disc jockey John Peel heard this album and was so impressed by it that he played it in its entirety on his show. The band initially self-released a small pressing of this album on vinyl in 1992, with each copy in a handmade and unique jacket with inserts varying from locks of hair to photographs of their relatives. In his review of the follow-up, Spasm Smash XXXOXOX Ox & Ass in Melody Maker, Everett True stated that his copy had included "a Far Side birthday card, the foreword to a book on setting up private hospital rooms, an advice sheet on insurance, some small intestines, and a cloth sleeve which is too small for the LP to fit inside". The album was re-released in the United States by Homestead Records on CD and LP. Subsequent British and Japanese issues of the album contained considerable bonus material.
Spasm Smash XXXOXOX Ox & Ass is the second album by Trumans Water. It is their first double-album and was released in 1993 on Homestead Records in the United States and Elemental Records in the UK. There is also a Japanese re-release of the album with a radically different track listing. Everett True, in a 1993 review of the album, described it "Imagine Pavement if they were five Gary Youngs with the songwriting ability of two Steve Malkmuses". Chris Sharp, writing in Lime Lizard stated "there are 20 tracks here, but each one feels like at least three songs grafted together in some bizarre musico-genetic experiment".
Godspeed the Punchline is an LP by Trumans Water. It was released in January 1994 by Homestead Records in the United States and Elemental Records in the UK. This album was preceded by three other "Godspeed" albums--Godspeed the Static, Godspeed the Vortex and Godspeed the Hemorrhage--all of which featured improvised, lo-fi music. Godspeed the Punchline can probably be considered the proper, studio follow-up to Spasm Smash XXXOXOX Ox & Ass. It is the last studio album recorded with Glen Galloway before he left to form Soul-Junk. The album was described as "eighteen short blasts of negasonic tumult" by David Sprague of Trouser Press, while Mark Jenkins of The Washington Post stated that the songs "can wander aimlessly or suddenly turn on the siren and race straight to their destination".
The Fruitties is an animated television series produced in Spain by D'Ocon Film Productions in 1987, created by Antoni D'Ocon and written by Josep Viciana. It originally aired on the Spanish television channel TVE. Originally, 91 episodes were created - each 10 minutes long - but the series was often repackaged as 56 25-minute episodes. The series was dubbed into many languages and, in 1991, an English-language version of the show made its debut on British television.

Saba banana is a triploid hybrid (ABB) banana cultivar originating from the Philippines. It is primarily a cooking banana, though it can also be eaten raw. It is one of the most important banana varieties in Philippine cuisine. It is also sometimes known as the cardaba banana, though the latter name may be more correctly applied to a very similar cultivar also classified within the saba subgroup.
Earthrise is a concept album originally released in 1986, written by former Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) member Richard Tandy and David Morgan, both from Birmingham, UK. Morgan also wrote songs for 1960s band The Move.
Supremo is an album by Venezuelan duo Chino & Nacho released on October 18, 2011. The album marks a move away from reggaeton, and more towards a "tropical fusion" or merengue influenced sound. "Pobre Corazón" is the theme for the telenovela Rafaela, while "¿Será Que Tengo La Culpa?" served as the soundtrack for La viuda joven. It was released in a reloaded version on March 26, 2013. The reissue features the album version of the single "Sin Tí", the remix of "Regálame Un Muack" with El Potro Álvarez, unreleased studio tracks "Mi Mejor Cancion", "No He Podido Verte" and "Don Juan " with Fanny Lu, the latter which was released as a single on October 10, 2012. It also includes club remixes of "El Poeta" and "Bebé Bonita". Supremo was nominated Tropical Album of the Year at the Premio Lo Nuestro 2013.
"Thieves" is a song by American industrial metal band Ministry. It was released as the opening track from the band's fourth studio album, The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste (1989), as well as the B-side from its single, "Burning Inside". The song's lyrics deal mainly with political corruption. The song includes dialogue samples from R. Lee Ermey's drill instructor character in Full Metal Jacket. Ministry's version was featured in the 1992 science fiction film Freejack, also in the 2009 video game Brütal Legend.
