Turdan (Persian : توردان‎, also Romanized as Tūrdān, Toor Dan, and Ţūrdān)^[1] is a village in Bampur-e Gharbi Rural District, in the Central District of Bampur County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,008, in 371 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Bampur-e Gharbi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Bampur County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 15,905, in 3,076 families. The rural district has 28 villages.

The Central District of Bampur County is a district (bakhsh) in Bampur County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 47,360, in 9,148 families. The District has one city: Bampur. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Bampur-e Gharbi Rural District and Bampur-e Sharqi Rural District.
