Dark Lotus was an American hip hop group based in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Formed in 1998, the group mainly consisted of Insane Clown Posse, Blaze Ya Dead Homie, and Twiztid.
Chris Rouleau, also known as Blaze Ya Dead Homie or simply Blaze, is an American rapper from Mt. Clemens, Michigan. His stage persona is that of a reincarnated gang member killed in the late 1980s, and his lyrics derive from the hip hop styles of gangsta rap and horrorcore.
Twiztid is an American hip hop duo from Detroit, Michigan whose lyrical style has been described as horrorcore, combining influence from horror films and comic books with more personal, introspective lyrics as well as other non-horror themes including smoking marijuana, sex, and politics. Formed in 1997, Twiztid is composed of Jamie Spaniolo and Paul Methric, who performs under the respective personas of Jamie Madrox and Monoxide. Spaniolo and Methric are former members of the group House of Krazees which disbanded in 1997. They signed to Psychopathic Records in 1997 and released their debut album in 1998, Mostasteless.
