The Wraith: Shangri-La is the eighth studio album by American hip hop group Insane Clown Posse, released on November 5, 2002, by Psychopathic Records. Recording sessions for the album took place in 2002 at multiple recording studios throughout the United States. The album is the first of two albums representing the sixth Joker's Card in the group's Dark Carnival mythology. The album's lyrics describe the titular Wraith's exhibition of heaven.

Twiztid is an American hip hop duo from Detroit, Michigan whose lyrical style has been described as horrorcore, combining influence from horror films and comic books with more personal, introspective lyrics as well as other non-horror themes including smoking marijuana, sex and politics. Formed in 1997, Twiztid is composed of Jamie Spaniolo and Paul Methric, who perform under the respective personas of Jamie Madrox and Monoxide. Spaniolo and Methric are former members of the group House of Krazees, which disbanded in 1997 a year after the duo's departure. They released their debut album in 1997.

The Green Book is the third studio album by Twiztid. Released on July 1, 2003, Jamie Spaniolo has referred to the album as a "Juggalo favorite". The album was rereleased by Majik Ninja Entertainment on August 19, 2016. It was released on CD, Cassette, and Vinyl with a version only found on the Twiztid-Store. The album is regarded by many as the duo's best.
Tales from the Lotus Pod is the first album by American hip hop group Dark Lotus. Released on July 17, 2001, the album featured the only appearance of former member Marz, who was soon dismissed from the group. This was the first Insane Clown Posse/Twiztid related album to be released after their label Psychopathic Records left Island Records.
The Pendulum is a 12-issue miniseries of comic books based upon the Dark Carnival universe, a mythology detailed in the music of the Insane Clown Posse. Distributed by Chaos! Myzery is a Puerto Rican rapper, based in New York City. He was one of the earliest artists to appear with Psychopathic Records, and released one EP titled Para La Isla in 1998. Afterwards, he released various albums through other outlets via guerrilla tactics, and dismisses some songs because he had "no heart". After a period of obscurity, he reappeared in late 2010 to announce his return and new album titled The Demon Angel, released in 2018.
Cryptic Collection 4 is the sixth compilation album of Cryptic Collection series by American hip hop duo Twiztid. Released on September 13, 2011 through Psychopathic Records, a follow-up to 2009's Cryptic Collection: Holiday Edition, it served as a sequel to CC3 (2004). Among Twiztid's, production was handled by Eric Davie, Michael "Seven" Summers, Mike E. Clark, Fritz "The Cat" Van Kosky and Stircrazy. It features guest appearances from House of Krazees, Insane Clown Posse, Prozak, Anybody Killa, Boondox, E-40, Krizz Kaliko and Tech N9ne.
