Tyler Downs (born July 19, 2003) is an American competitive Olympic diver and social media personality.
Tyler Downs was born on July 19, 2003, in St. Louis, Missouri. [1] He is youngest of seven children born to Theresa and Donnie Downs. He attended Laurel Springs Online School, graduating in 2021. [2]
Downs is a six time U.S. junior national diving champion. [3] Downs competed at the 2015, 2017, and 2019 U.S. Junior Pan American Games. He competed at the 2019 Sagamihara and Beijing World Series. At the 2018 World Junior Diving Championships, he was the silver medalist in 1-meter. At the 2019 Junior Pan American Championships, he won gold on the 3-meter and synchronized 3-meter and bronze on the 1-meter and platform. [4] [2]
Downs qualified to represent the United States in the Men's 3 metre springboard at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo after triumphing in the event at the U.S. Olympic trials and in the process defeating his hero, David Boudia. [5] [6] However, in Tokyo he failed to proceed beyond the preliminary round, finishing 23rd in a field of 29 divers. [7]
Downs lives in Ballwin, Missouri. [8] He committed to attending Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana in the Fall 2021, to compete for the "Boilermakers" swimming and diving squad. [9] As of September 22, 2022, however, he was no longer a student at Purdue. [10]
Thomas Robert Daley is a British diver and television personality. Specialising in multiple events, he is an Olympic gold medallist in the men's synchronised 10-metre platform event at the 2020 Olympics and double world champion in the FINA 10-metre platform event, winning in 2009 at the age of fifteen, and again in 2017. He is an Olympic bronze medallist in the 2012 platform event, the 2016 synchronised event, and the 2020 platform event, making him the first British diver to win four Olympic medals. Daley also competes in team events, winning the inaugural mixed team World title in 2015, and repeating the win in 2024, his fourth World title in all. He is an Olympic champion, 4-time World Champion, a 2-time junior World Champion, a 5-time European champion and 4-time Commonwealth champion.
Troy Matthew Dumais is an American competitive diver from California. Dumais has competed for the United States at four Olympic Games, winning a team bronze medal in the synchronized 3m in 2012. He attended the University of Texas at Austin.
David Alasdair Boudia is an American diver. He won the gold medal in the 10 metre platform diving competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the bronze medal in the same event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He also won a bronze medal with Nick McCrory in the men's synchronized 10 metre platform at the 2012 Summer Olympics and a silver medal in the same event with Steele Johnson at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Patrick S. Jeffrey is a retired diver from the United States. As a college athlete on the Ohio State University swimming & diving team, swept the three diving events at the Big Ten championship his senior year and was named conference Diver of the Year. Jeffrey graduated a decorated diver from Ohio State in 1988. In his last season, he became the only diver to sweep the NCAA diving titles ; a record he holds to this day.
Thomas Finchum is an American country musician and former platform diver. He was a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic team. Finchum announced his retirement from diving in 2012. He is now pursuing a country music career.

Kristian Ipsen is an American diver, who has been diving competitively since 1998. Diving alongside Troy Dumais, they took the silver medal in the synchronized 3 meter springboard at the 2009 World Aquatics Championships and the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Michael Hixon is an American diver. He is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won the silver medal with Sam Dorman in the men's synchronized 3-meter springboard event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and the silver medal with Andrew Capobianco at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in the same event.

Simone Ashley Manuel is an American professional swimmer specializing in freestyle events. At the 2016 Rio Olympics, she won two gold and two silver medals: gold in the 100-meter freestyle and the 4×100-meter medley, and silver in the 50-meter freestyle and the 4×100-meter freestyle relay. Steele Alexander Johnson is an Olympic silver medal-winning American diver. He has won multiple national titles at both the junior and college levels. Johnson made his Olympic debut at the 2016 Rio Games, where he won a silver medal with David Boudia in the men's 10 m synchronized platform diving competition. Johnson is a six-time senior national champion with USA Diving. He won the 10-meter platform at the 2013 USA Diving Winter Nationals, was a 15-time junior national champion, and was a four-time champion at the Junior Pan American Games.
Lillia Camille King is an American swimmer who specializes in breaststroke. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, she won the gold medal in the 100-meter breaststroke competition and also won a gold medal in the 4x100 meter medley relay, in which she swam the breaststroke leg. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, King won a silver medal in the 4x100 meter medley relay for her efforts in the prelims, the silver medal in the 200-meter breaststroke, and the bronze medal in the 100-meter breaststroke. She is the current world record holder in the long course 100-meter breaststroke.
