Tyrice Beverette (born January 28, 1995) is an American professional football linebacker for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Raised in Lakewood Township, New Jersey, Beverette graduated from Lakewood High School in 2013. [1]
Beverette played college football for the Stony Brook Seawolves from 2014 to 2017 after taking a redshirt season in 2013. [1] He played in 44 games where he had 262 tackles, 27.5 tackles for a loss, 14 sacks, five interceptions, and seven forced fumbles. [1] [2]
After attending a tryout, Beverette signed with the Cincinnati Bengals on May 14, 2018. [3] However, he was released with the final cuts following training camp on September 1, 2018. [2]
Beverette signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on May 19, 2019. [4] He began the season on the practice roster, but played in his first career professional game on July 26, 2019, against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. [2] He played in 13 regular season games where he had nine defensive tackles and 19 special teams tackles. [2] Beverette also played in his first Grey Cup championship game, but the Tiger-Cats lost to the Blue Bombers in the 107th Grey Cup game. [2]
He did not play in 2020 due to the cancellation of the 2020 CFL season and signed a contract extension on January 5, 2021. [5] He played in nine regular season games in 2021 where he had seven defensive tackles and eight special teams tackles. [2] He became a free agent upon the expiry of his contract on February 8, 2022. [6]
On February 8, 2022, it was announced that Beverette had signed with the Montreal Alouettes. [7]
Michael O'Shea is the head coach of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a former Canadian football linebacker and former special teams coordinator of the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL from 2010 to 2013, winning the Grey Cup in 2012. O'Shea played 16 seasons in the CFL for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Toronto Argonauts from 1993 to 2008. He retired second all-time in career tackles with 1,154 and is one of only three players to record over 1,000 tackles. He won the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian Award in 1999 after recording 84 tackles, 13 special teams tackles and three interceptions that year. O'Shea is a three-time Grey Cup champion as a player, having won all three with the Argonauts in 1996, 1997, and 2004. He is also a two-time Grey Cup winning head coach, having won with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2019 and 2021; O'Shea also won the Grey Cup previously as a special teams coach with the Toronto Argonauts in the 100th Grey Cup.

Kyries Hebert is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker and safety. He was originally signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2002. He played college football at Louisiana-Lafayette. In the NFL Hebert has been a member of the Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals. In the CFL he has also been a member Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and Montreal Alouettes.
Chris Van Zeyl is a Canadian former professional gridiron football offensive tackle who played for 15 years in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Montreal Alouettes, Toronto Argonauts, and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He is a two-time Grey Cup champion with the Argonauts and was named a CFL All-Star three times and CFL East Division All-Star seven times. Jackson Jeffcoat is a former gridiron football defensive end who played his entire Canadian Football League (CFL) career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Jeffcoat won the 107th and 108th Grey Cup when the Blue Bombers defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to conclude the 2019 and 2021 seasons. He played college football at the University of Texas at Austin. Hénoc Muamba is a Congolese-Canadian former professional football linebacker who played in both the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the National Football League (NFL).
