Chan Sung Jung South Korean mixed martial artist

Jung Chan-sung is a South Korean mixed martial artist and kickboxer currently competing in the UFC's male Featherweight division. A professional competitor since 2007, Jung has also formerly competed for the WEC, Pancrase, World Victory Road, and DEEP. His nickname, "(The) Korean Zombie" comes from his zombie-like ability to continue to move forward and fight aggressively, even after taking heavy blows. A middleweight bout between Markus Perez and Deron Winn was scheduled for the event. However, on May 9, it was reported that Perez had pulled out of the fight due to injury and was replaced by promotional newcomer Bruno Silva. [5] [6] On June 16, it was reported that Silva was forced out of the bout due to a potential anti-doping violation by USADA and was replaced by returning veteran Eric Spicely. [7]

Markus Perez Echeimberg is a Brazilian mixed martial artist and he was the Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) middleweight champion. He competes in Middleweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Eric Spicely is an American mixed martial artist and professional wrestler currently competing in the middleweight division of Ultimate Fighting Championship. A professional competitor since 2012, he formerly competed for RFA, CES MMA and was a Light Heavyweight contestant on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Joanna vs. Team Cláudia.

A bantamweight bout between Cody Stamann and Rob Font was scheduled to take place at the event. However, Stamann pulled out due to an injury and was replaced by John Lineker. [8] The pairing met previously at UFC 198 on May 2016, with Lineker winning the fight via unanimous decision. [9] In turn, Lineker pulled out due to a cut over his eyebrow on weigh in day. As a result, Font did not compete at the event and will be rescheduled for a future event. [10]

John Lineker dos Santos de Paula known professionally as John Lineker, is a Brazilian mixed martial artist currently signed to ONE Championship. Lineker formerly competed in the Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. A professional competitor since 2008, he is the former Jungle Fight Bantamweight Champion. Lineker is known for his aggressive fighting style, punching power, and durability.
