Jared Rosholt was expected to face promotional newcomer Aleksei Oleinik at the event. However, Oleinik was forced out of the bout with an injury and Rosholt was pulled from the card altogether. [4]

A professional competitor since 2001, Thomson has competed in Bellator MMA, PRIDE, Strikeforce, UFC, the World Fighting Alliance, and appeared at Dynamite!! 2010. Thomson is a former Strikeforce World Lightweight Champion, former Strikeforce U.S. Lightweight Champion, and a former top contender in the UFC.
Nathan Donald Diaz is an American professional mixed martial artist who is currently a free agent. Diaz is most known for his time spent fighting in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he fought for over 15 years after winning The Ultimate Fighter 5.
