The UNTV Cup Executive Face Off was the 2017 off-season tournament of the annual charity basketball league in the Philippines, UNTV Cup. The tournament is organized by UNTV Public Service channel, through its chairman and chief executive officer of BMPI-UNTV, Kuya Daniel Razon, more popularly known as Mr. Public Service.
It officially opened on May 21, 2017 at the Pasig City Sports Complex, Pasig. Six teams vied for the championship title of the season. Regular games were held at the same venue with a live telecast on the UNTV Public Service channel every Sunday afternoon.
The championship game was held on July 10, 2017 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. The AFP Cavaliers outlasted the PNP Responders in overtime, 75–70, to claim the inaugural Executive Face Off title.
There are 6 squads who vied for the championship title of the season. All are returning teams, led by Season 5 champions PNP Responders. [1]

On July 10, 2017 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, members of the Samahan ng mga Dating Propesyonal na Basketbolista ng Pilipinas face the UNTV Cup selection for an exhibition game as part of the festivities during the UNTV Cup Executive Face-Off Finals.
One million pesos was given to the newly-established Samahan ng mga Dating Propesyonal na Baskebolista sa Pilipinas Foundation for the benefit of former basketball professionals from 1975 to 1990 in need of medical assistance. [7] [8]

A total of 2.15 million pesos tax-free was given to the teams' chosen beneficiaries, with the champion taking home a trophy and 1 million pesos to be given to their chosen charity institution. [9] The runner-up's beneficiary will receive 500 thousand pesos, while 250 thousand [10] and 200 thousand pesos will be given to third and fourth-place finishers' chosen charities, respectively. The other participating teams will get 100 thousand pesos for their beneficiary. [11]

Daniel Soriano Razon is a Filipino television and radio host. He is currently the Overall Servant of the Members Church of God International, succeeding Eli Soriano after the latter's death on February 11, 2021.
Fortunato "Atoy" Gan Co Jr. is a Filipino former basketball player and coach who played 13 seasons in the Philippine Basketball Association, mostly with Crispa Redmanizers. Nicknamed "The Fortune Cookie" during his playing days, he was notable for his trademark turnaround fadeaway jump shot. He is also a former politician and actor.
Gherome Eric Angeles Ejercito is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He last played for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in the Philippine Basketball Association. He first played from the Pampanga Dragons in the Metropolitan Basketball Association, then won the championship team in 1998 and later played for the San Juan Knights in 1999. He is the son of actor Jorge Ejercito and the half-brother of actor-politicians E. R. Ejercito and Gary Estrada.
Good Morning Kuya, also known as GMK is a morning news-talk program conceptualized by Daniel Razon which aired on UNTV-37 It premiered on July 23, 2007 replacing Pilipinas, Gising Ka Na Ba?. The show also provides various public services by means of a free clinic, a free orphanage, free education, free transient home, free legal services and free rides during weekday mornings. Look-a-likes of Manny Pacquiao and Mr. Bean gives an added twist in the show. Good Morning Kuya or GMK can be viewed from 5:00 am to 7:30 am. In 2015, it extended again back to 3 hours from 5:00 am to 8:00 am. on June 15, 2020, the program is back to 2 hours and 30 minutes from 6:00 am to 8:30 am PST.
The UNTV Cup is a men's charity basketball league organized in the Philippines. Fourteen basketball teams represented by government agencies compete in the tournament.
The Songs for Heroes is a benefit concert dedicated for the immediate families of soldiers and policemen in the Philippines. It is initiated by the television channel, UNTV, and the Members Church of God International with its leaders Bro. Eli Soriano, Bro. Daniel Razon with special participation of Philippine National Police, Tagaligtas and Armed Forces of the Philippines. It is directed by Floy Quintos with Mon del Rosario as its musical director and Alex Cortez serve as creative director.

The Bureau of Customs Transformers was a basketball team currently that competed in the UNTV Cup Season 5. The Transformers were the newest team to be participate in the UNTV Cup, a public service-based basketball tournament in the Philippines. The team was supported by BOC Commissioners Nicanor Faeldon, that aims to beef up the bureau's campaign on the image transformation to the public from being the corrupted and controversial government agency to one of the most-efficient and transparent agencies to date. The team had one appearance before it was folded in 2017.
