The 2018 edition of UNTV Cup Executive Face Off was the 3rd off-season tournament (2nd off-season tagged as "Executive Face Off") of the annual charity basketball league in the Philippines, UNTV Cup. The tournament is organized by UNTV-37 Foundation, Inc., thru its chairman and chief executive officer of BMPI-UNTV, Kuya Daniel Razon, more popularly known as Mr. Public Service.
It officially opened on May 6, 2018 at the Pasig City Sports Complex, Pasig, with eight teams vying for the championship title. [1] [2] [3] Regular games were held at the same venue with a live telecast on UNTV channel every Sunday afternoon.
The finals game was held on July 30, 2018 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. [4] It was between the Season 5 champions and unbeaten PNP Responders, and first time finalists Ombudsman Graft Busters. [5] PNP dominated Ombudsman, 81–53, to get the championship, finish the off-season undefeated (9-0), and donate ₱1 million to their chosen charity.
From Season 1 to Season 6, including the three off season tournaments, UNTV Cup has given a total of ₱35 million to the beneficiaries of the participating teams. [6]
There were 8 squads who vied for the championship title of the off-season. Senior players from 40 years old and up are eligible to participate in the competition. All participants are returning teams from UNTV Cup Season 6, including all 4 previous regular season champions, led by the defending Executive Face Off 2017 winner AFP Cavaliers. [2] [4] [7]

The two recent regular season champions face off as the Season 5 winners, undefeated, and twice-to-beat PNP Responders go up against Season 6 champions Senate Sentinels. On the other side of the bracket, Executive Face Off first-timer Ombudsman Graft Busters hold the second twice-to-beat advantage versus the two-time regular season winner Judiciary Magis. [67] [68]

Before the much-awaited championship match between PNP Responders and Ombudsman Graft Busters, an exhibition game that served as the off-season All-Star game was held, with two squads composed of exceptional players from non-finalist teams. The winning team received ₱100,000 to be given to their chosen charity, and the losing team got ₱50,000 for their beneficiary. [69]

In total, the prize pool this season was 2 million and 350 thousand pesos (₱2,350,000). The ₱1 million top prize went to the charity of the champion team. The charity of the runner-up got ₱500,000, third ₱250,000, and ₱200,000 to the fourth placers. The beneficiaries of the remaining participants received ₱100,000. [4] [76]

Daniel Soriano Razon is a Filipino television and radio host. He is currently the Overall Servant of the Members Church of God International, succeeding Eli Soriano after the latter's death on February 11, 2021.
Gherome Eric Angeles Ejercito is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He last played for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in the Philippine Basketball Association. He first played from the Pampanga Dragons in the Metropolitan Basketball Association, then won the championship team in 1998 and later played for the San Juan Knights in 1999. He is the son of actor Jorge Ejercito and the half-brother of actor-politicians E. R. Ejercito and Gary Estrada.
Good Morning Kuya, also known as GMK is a morning news-talk program conceptualized by Daniel Razon which aired on UNTV-37 It premiered on July 23, 2007 replacing Pilipinas, Gising Ka Na Ba?. The show also provides various public services by means of a free clinic, a free orphanage, free education, free transient home, free legal services and free rides during weekday mornings. Look-a-likes of Manny Pacquiao and Mr. Bean gives an added twist in the show. Good Morning Kuya or GMK can be viewed from 5:00 am to 7:30 am. In 2015, it extended again back to 3 hours from 5:00 am to 8:00 am. on June 15, 2020, the program is back to 2 hours and 30 minutes from 6:00 am to 8:30 am PST.
The UNTV Cup is a men's charity basketball league organized in the Philippines. Fourteen basketball teams represented by government agencies compete in the tournament.
Ferdinand "Bong" Pascual is a Filipino basketball referee who has officiated in the FIBA World Cup and the Summer Olympics.
The UNTV Cup Season 4 was the 2015–2016 season of the public service-based basketball league, the UNTV Cup, based in the Philippines. It was opened on August 24, 2015 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay, as part of the activities for the 11th anniversary of UNTV Life. Its final games was ended on March 14, 2016 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City.

The UNTV Cup Season 5 was the 2016–17 season of the annual charity basketball league in the Philippines, UNTV Cup. The tournament organized by UNTV Public Service channel, through its chairman and chief executive officer of BMPI-UNTV, Kuya Daniel Razon, more popularly known as Mr. Public Service.
The Bureau of Customs Transformers was a basketball team currently that competed in the UNTV Cup Season 5. The Transformers were the newest team to be participate in the UNTV Cup, a public service-based basketball tournament in the Philippines. The team was supported by BOC Commissioners Nicanor Faeldon, that aims to beef up the bureau's campaign on the image transformation to the public from being the corrupted and controversial government agency to one of the most-efficient and transparent agencies to date. The team had one appearance before it was folded in 2017.
