The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, widely known as the Unification Church, is a new religious movement, whose members are called Unificationists, or "Moonies.". It was officially founded on 1 May 1954 under the name Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity (HSA-UWC) in Seoul, South Korea, by Sun Myung Moon (1920–2012). Moon and his wife Hak Ja Han were the leaders of the church and were honored by its members as their "True Parents."
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is a Nigerian-American economist, who has been serving as the Director-General of the World Trade Organization since March 2021. Notably, she is the first woman and first African to lead the World Trade Organization as Director-General. She also previously sat on the Twitter Board of Directors, and stepped down in February, 2021 in connection with her appointment as Director General of the World Trade Organization.
Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan is a Nigerian politician who served as the President of Nigeria from 2010 to 2015. He lost the 2015 presidential election to former military head of state General Muhammadu Buhari, and was the first incumbent president in Nigerian history to concede defeat in an election. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Nigeria from 2007 to 2010 under the administration of Umaru Musa Yar'Adua; and in oil-rich Bayelsa State as Governor of Bayelsa State from 2005 to 2007.
The Elders is an international non-governmental organisation of public figures noted as senior statesmen, peace activists and human rights advocates, who were brought together by Nelson Mandela in 2007. They describe themselves as "independent global leaders working together for peace and human rights". The goal Mandela set for The Elders was to use their "almost 1,000 years of collective experience" to work on solutions for seemingly insurmountable problems such as climate change, HIV/AIDS, and poverty, as well as to "use their political independence to help resolve some of the world's most intractable conflicts".

Kingsley Chiedu Moghalu OON is a Nigerian political economist. He served as Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, appointed by President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, from 2009 to 2014. He subsequently taught at Tufts University as Professor of Practice in International Business and Public Policy at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy from 2015 to 2017. He was the presidential candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) in the country's general election in February 2019.
Ayodele Joseph Oritsegbubemi Oritsejafor, known as Papa Ayo Oritsejafor, is the founding and Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church, located in Warri, Nigeria. He became the national president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) on 7 February 2005, a position he held for five years. In July 2010, Oritsejafor was elected President of the Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN), the apex body of all Christians in the country. In doing so he became the first Pentecostal leader to hold the position. Oritsejafor was the first to launch a Miracle crusade from Africa to a world audience via satellite in 1987 with evangelist Joe Martins.
Dame Patience Faka Jonathan (born 25 October 1957) is a Nigerian civil servant who served as the First Lady of Nigeria from 2010 to 2015 and second lady of Nigeria from 2007 to 2010. She is the wife of former president and Vice president of Nigeria Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. She served as a Permanent Secretary in Bayelsa State.

Nahzeem Olufemi "Femi" Mimiko is a Nigerian educational administrator and former vice chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, a state-owned university named after the former governor of Ondo State, Nigeria, Adekunle Ajasin. The university was ranked the best state university in Nigeria by the United States Transparency International Standard (USTIS) in April 2014. Mimiko was the only vice chancellor delegate at the National Conference in Nigeria held in 2014 under the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan. Mimiko assumed office in January 2010 and was preceded by Philip Olayede Abiodun. In 2016, he had a stint as African and African-American Studies Associate, at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA.

The 2007 Inter-Korean summit meeting was held between October 2 and October 4, 2007, in Pyongyang, between President Roh Moo-hyun of the Republic of Korea and Kim Jong-il of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). It is the second Inter-Korean summit following the 2000 inter-Korean summit. It is also called the 10.4 Inter-Korean summit. As a result of the talks, both sides announced a declaration for the development of inter-Korean relations and peace and prosperity.

Albino Mathom Ayuel Aboug is a South Sudanese politician and diplomat. Aboug is a member of the South Sudan National Legislative Assembly and represents South Sudan in the Pan-African Parliament. Aboug had previously served in various diplomatic positions throughout Africa, most prominently as one of the peace negotiators during the Central African Republic Civil War. Aboug holds both South Sudanese and American nationality.
The Podgorica club was founded at the beginning of 2019 in Podgorica, Montenegro. Members of the Podgorica club are former presidents and prime ministers of the countries of the Balkan region, such as former Montenegrin president Filip Vujanović, former Bosnian prime minister Zlatko Lagumdžija, former Slovenian president Danilo Türk, former Croatian president Stjepan Mesić, former Serbian president Nataša Mićić, former Albanian president Alfred Moisiu and other prominent politicians from the Balkans area. The founding of the Podgorica club followed the world summits in South Korea, organized by the Universal Peace Federation, which were attended by politicians from the Balkans, such as former president Vujanović and former Albanian president Moisiu. The Podgorica club thanked the Universal Peace Federation for a successful partnership in affirming the value of cooperation and peace in the international community.
At the beginning of 2016, more than a hundred parliamentarians from more than 40 countries in the Korean parliament founded the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace, based on the "Parliamentarians for Peace" initiative launched by the founders of the Universal Peace Federation, Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon in 2001.
The International Summit Council for Peace (ISCP) was launched in South Korea during the 2019 World Summit organized by the UPF with the aim of bringing together current and former heads of state. Among the speakers at the 2019 Summit were Cheney, former US vice president, Gingrich, former Speaker of the US House of Representatives, and many other politicians and statesmen. Among others, the former presidents of Albania, Ghana, Paraguay and other former presidents participated in the summit. ISCP continues to work on the foundations of the World Peace Summit, established in 1987.
