Uedaea onoi is a species of foliose [2] red algae of the family Bangiaceae. It is the only species in its genus Uedaea. [1]

Ma Yin, courtesy name Batu (霸圖), also known by his posthumous name as the King Wumu of Chu (楚武穆王), was a Chinese military general and politician who became the founding ruler of the Chinese Ma Chu dynasty during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. He was the only monarch who carried the title of "king" in his dynasty. He initially took control of the Changsha region in 896 after the death of his predecessor Liu Jianfeng, and subsequently increased his territorial hold to roughly modern Hunan and northeastern Guangxi, which became the territory of Ma Chu.
Schisandra chinensis, whose fruit is called magnolia berry or five-flavor fruit, is a vine plant native to forests of Northern China, the Russian Far East and Korea. Wild varieties are also found in Japan. It is hardy in USDA Zone 4. The fruits are red berries in dense clusters around 10 centimetres (3.9 in) long.

They are one of the oldest eukaryotic organisms, possibly dating back to 1.6 billion years old. Many species are used today as food in different cultures worldwide. Their sizes range from microscopic (Bangiomorpha) to up to two meters long. Many of its species are affected by Pythium porphyrae, a parasitic oomycete. Similar to many other species of red algae, they reproduce both asexually and sexually. They can be both filamentous or foliose, and are found worldwide.

The Yin Yang Shiyi Mai Jiujing, or Cauterization Canon of the Eleven Yin and Yang Vessels, is an ancient Chinese medical text that was excavated in 1973 from a Han-dynasty tomb in Mawangdui Han tombs site that had been sealed in 168 BCE. It was handcopied in seal script on the same sheet of silk as the Recipes for Fifty-Two Ailments and another text on cauterization during the Qin dynasty, around 215 BCE. The text describes the pathways of eleven vessels or channels inside the body, as well as the ailments associated with each vessel. It contains many textual parallels with the later medical text known as the Lingshu, one extant version of the Huangdi Neijing.
