Ulsan Grand Park is the largest urban park in South Korea, with 3.69 square kilometres (1.42 square miles) of park land. It is located in Ulsan Metropolitan City, and includes walking trails, a nature learning center, a botanical garden, a petting zoo, a butterfly zoo, and several playgrounds. [1] [2] [3]
Chey Tae-won, a former chairman of SK Group, began a money-saving program in 1995 to build a park in the city as a way of giving back to society. Construction began that year and finished in 2006. The total cost of the park was KRW102 billion (equivalent to approximately US$107 million in 2006), with SK paying about 60% of the money and the remaining 40% paid by the city. [1] [2]
South Gyeongsang Province is a province in the southeast of South Korea. The provincial capital is at Changwon. It is adjacent to the major metropolitan center and port of Busan. The UNESCO World Heritage Site Haeinsa, a Buddhist temple that houses the Tripitaka Koreana and tourist attraction, is located in this province. Automobile and petrochemical factories are largely concentrated along the southern part of the province, extending from Ulsan through Busan, Changwon, and Jinju.

Gyeongju is 370 km (230 mi) southeast of Seoul, and 55 km (34 mi) east of Daegu. Numerous low mountains—outliers of the Taebaek range—are scattered around the city.
Gwacheon is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It lies close to Seoul in the heart of the Seoul National Capital Area, and also lies just east of Anyang. Seoul Subway Line 4 passes through the city.
Ulsan HD FC, formerly Ulsan Hyundai FC, is a South Korean professional football club based in Ulsan that competes in the K League 1, the top tier of South Korean football. Founded in 1983 as Hyundai Horang-i, they joined the K League in 1984. Their home ground is Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium. The club is owned by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries.
Everland (Korean: 에버랜드) is South Korea's largest theme park. It is located at the Everland Resort in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. In 2018, it received 5.85 million visitors and was ranked 19th in the world for amusement park attendance. As of 2010, Everland is measured to be approximately 1,200,000 square yards. Along with its main attractions, Everland includes a zoo and water park known as Caribbean Bay. Everland is operated by Samsung C&T Corporation, which is a subsidiary of the Samsung Group.

Ulsan Science Museum is a science museum located in Ok-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan, South Korea. Established in 2011, the museum has an area of 41,000 square metres spread out over 6 floors. There is space for several exhibitions, a planetarium, and science labs and classrooms for educational courses. The exhibitions are almost entirely in Korean, but there are also English programs available for visiting schools.
Ulsan Museum is a history museum located adjacent to Ulsan Grand Park in Nam-gu, Ulsan, South Korea. The museum has a permanent exhibit that details life in Ulsan and the rest of Korea from prehistoric times to the present. Construction of the museum commenced on 2 January 2009 and was completed on 31 January 2011. It opened on 22 June 2011.
Jangsaengpo Whale Museum(Korean: 장생포 고래 박물관) is a history museum located in Jangsaengpo, Nam-gu, Ulsan, South Korea. It is the only whale museum in South Korea. The museum details Ulsan's history of whaling. Whaling was banned in South Korea in 1986, but whaling artifacts were kept and are now on display in the museum which is built in what was once a central whaling area. It has a 6,946 square metres of floor space and includes a dolphinarium where visitors can watch dolphin acrobatic performances, and a 4D theatre.
Ulsan Culture & Arts Center is an arts center located in Dal-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan, South Korea. Construction of the building began in 1990 and the center opened on 5 October 1995. It was previously named the Jonghap Culture & Arts Center (Korean: 종합문화예술회관) but was renamed in 1997. It is the site of the annual Cheoyong Culture Festival, which accompanies the Ulsan World Music Festival and the Asia Pacific Music Meeting.
Ulsan Jungang Market or Ulsan Central Market is a traditional street market in Jung-gu, Ulsan, South Korea. It is the largest traditional market in Ulsan. The market contains many shops that sell fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, breads, clothing, and Korean traditional medicinal items. The market also has many small restaurants and street-food stalls. The market is also home to "Barbeque Eel ally", which is a street famous for the many restaurants serving freshly-killed barbequed pike eel that can be found there.
