Ultra Chile is an outdoor electronic music festival that is a part of Ultra Music Festival's worldwide expansion, which has now spread to twenty countries. [1] [2] The debut of Ultra Chile took place at the Piscinas Espacio Broadway in Santiago, Chile. [3] The Road to Ultra: Chile took place in Santiago, Chile on 8 October 2016 at the Movistar Arena.

History

2013

Ultra Chile's debut lasted two days and took place during 22–23 February 2013. [4] The festival featured two stages—Main Stage and the Carl Cox & Friends/Armada Stage. [5] [6] The festival featured the likes of Carl Cox, Marco Carola, UMEK, Nina Kraviz, Sean Tyas, Betsie Larkin, Shogun, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Sander van Doorn, Markus Schulz, Knife Party, Hardwell, Avicii, Dash Berlin, Jerome Isma-Ae, Martin Solveig, and many more.

[7] More than 20,000 people were in attendance for Ultra Chile's debut at Espacio Broadway. [8]

2014

After the inaugural edition of Road to Ultra: Chile took place in Valparaiso, Chile during February 2014, the organizers behind Ultra Chile implemented an age restriction for the festival's second edition. [9] [10]

This edition of Ultra Chile was held at the Movistar Arena and O'Higgins Park in Santiago, Chile during 11–12 October 2014 and only those ages 16 and over were able to attend. [11] The festival featured three stages—the Main Stage, DJ Mag Latinoamerica Stage, and the Carl Cox & Friends/Ultra Worldwide Arena. [12] [13] Featured artists included Carl Craig, Carl Cox, Steve Lawler, Steve Angello, Dash Berlin, Borgore, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Festa Bros, Jorn van Deynhoven, Ben Gold, Emma Hewitt, Tomas Heredia, Armin van Buuren, Nervo, Headhunterz, and many more. [14] The second edition of Ultra Chile welcomed about 40,000 people in attendance to Santiago. [15]

2015

The third edition of Ultra Chile was once again moved to a new venue, the Ciudad Empresarial in Santiago, Chile and took place on 10 October 2015. [16] The festival was also changed to last one day instead of two, and featured three stages—Main Stage, Drumcode Stage, and the DJ Mag Latinoamerica Stage. [17] Artists for the third edition of Ultra Chile included the likes of Heatbeat, Vinai, Dzeko & Torres, Fedde Le Grand, Knife Party, DJ Snake, Axwell & Ingrosso, Dash Berlin, GTA, Nick Curly, Luigi Madonna, Ida Engberg, Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, and many more. [18] [19] About 20,000 people were in attendance for the third edition of Ultra Chile. [20]

2016

The fourth edition of Ultra Chile returned as a Road to Ultra event for 2016. This edition of the Road to Ultra: Chile took place on 8 October 2016 at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile. [21] The lineup for the Road to Ultra: Chile included Martin Garrix, Carnage, Dash Berlin, Deorro, Jauz, and other local supporting acts. [22]

Ultra Europe is a multi-venue outdoor electronic music festival that is a part of Ultra Music Festival's worldwide expansion, which has now spread to twenty countries. Ultra Europe made its debut as a two-day festival during 12–13 July 2013, and took place in Split, Croatia, with an additional Ultra Beach party in Hvar Island, Croatia on 14 July 2013. In 2015, the festival became a part of Destination Ultra which now lasts seven days in the heart of Dalmatia and includes an opening party, the three-day festival, yacht regatta, Ultra Beach, and a closing party.

The Deja Vu Tour, previously named as The Hits Tour during 2014, is a series of concerts performed by Mexican artist Luis Miguel to perform a brand new setlist consisting of his earliest hits as well as his most recent hits included in productions such as México En La Piel (2004) and Luis Miguel (2010). Even though, in 2014 the USA Tour advertising mentioned it as "Tour 2014" and the Sudamerican advertising as "The Show" these were not the tour official names. Along with the tour start date the single "Deja Vu" came out, it can be inferred that this is the reason why the tour was renamed as "Deja Vu".

He is the co-founder of the Ultra Music Festival, an outdoor electronic music festival in Miami, and creator of the Ultra Worldwide brand. He is CEO, President, and Executive producer of the Ultra organization, and is also the chairman of the board, upon which and Adam Russakoff serve. Currently, Faibisch presides over an international chain of branded music festivals, concerts, and events, which include editions spanning across Europe, Australia, Asia, Africa, South, and North America, plus globally syndicated radio broadcasts, an online YouTube channel, music films, and premieres. In April 2016, Ultra Music Festival won the DJ Mag award for “World’s Number 1 Festival,” which was voted on by over 500,000 fans worldwide. Ultra Brasil is an outdoor electronic music festival that is a part of Ultra Music Festival's worldwide expansion, which has now spread to twenty countries. Ultra Brasil debuted in November 2008 in São Paulo and Belo Horizonte, Brazil. In 2016, Ultra Brasil took place at the Sambodromo in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil during 14–15 October 2016. The 2017 edition of Ultra Brasil has been announced to take place at the Sambodromo in Rio de Janeiro during 12–14 October 2017.

Ultra Buenos Aires is an outdoor electronic music festival that is a part of Ultra Music Festival's worldwide expansion, which has now spread to twenty countries. The inaugural edition of Ultra Buenos Aires took place at the Costanera Sur in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 5 May 2012.

Road to Ultra (RTU) events are one day, single-stage events created and founded by the team behind the electronic dance music festival, Ultra Music Festival. Stage designs are also curated by the Ultra Worldwide team and are adapted to accommodate the needs of indoor and outdoor venues. RTU made its debut in 2012 in Seoul, Korea leading up to the second edition of Ultra Korea, which took place the following year. Since then, Road to Ultra events have landed in Thailand, Colombia, Peru, Macau, Japan, Taiwan, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Bolivia, the Philippines, Singapore, Chile, and Hong Kong. As of 2017, new Road to Ultra events have taken place in India in September 2017, as well as Australia in February 2018.

Ultra Korea is an outdoor electronic music festival that is a part of Ultra Music Festival's worldwide expansion, which has now spread to twenty countries. Following Ultra Brasil's third edition in 2011, Ultra Korea made its debut as a two-day festival in August 2012 and took place at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul, Korea. The most recent edition of Ultra Korea took place during 8–10 June 2018 at Seoul's Olympic Stadium. Ultra Korea is strictly a festival for those ages 19 and over. The next edition of Ultra Korea will take place during 7–9 June 2019 at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul.

Ultra Japan is an outdoor electronic music festival that is a part of Ultra Music Festival's worldwide expansion, which has now spread to twenty countries. Ultra Japan made its debut as a two-day festival during September 27–28, 2014, and took place at the Tokyo Odaiba Ultra Park in Tokyo, Japan.

Ultra South Africa is a strictly 18 and over event.

Ultra China is a two-day electronic music festival that is a part of Ultra Music Festival's worldwide expansion, which has now spread to twenty-three countries. The inaugural edition of Ultra China will be taking place in Shanghai, China on 9–10 September 2017.

Ultra Australia is an outdoor electronic music festival that is a part of Ultra Music Festival's worldwide expansion, which has now spread to twenty three countries. Ultra Australia made its debut as a single day event under the Road to Ultra banner on 24 February 2018, and took place at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne, Australia.
