Ultra Prime Esports, formed in 2020 by Nenking Group, is a professional esports franchise based in China. Ultra Prime Esports manages Nenking's esports teams, such as Guangzhou Charge.
Nenking established a new esports brand "Ultra Prime" for Nenking's esports business on 28 August 2020. Ultra Prime Esports manages Nenking's esports teams, such as Guangzhou Charge of the Overwatch League. [1] On 17 December 2020, Nenking acquired the LPL team of the Chinese esports franchise "eStar Gaming". [2] On 29 March 2021, Nenking Esports Center had its grand opening. Located in GBA International Sports and Cultural Center, Nenking Esports Center will be the base of Ultra Prime Esports and all of Nenking's esports teams. Nenking also announced that "eStar Gaming", their League of Legends branch, had been rebranded to "Ultra Prime".
On 8 August 2020, Nenking acquired an OWC team called "Ignition One (IO)" and rebranded the team to Ultra Prime Academy as the academy team of Guangzhou Charge. [1]
On 17 December 2020, LPL team eStar was acquired by Nenking. [2] It was later renamed as "Ultra Prime" during the grand opening of Nenking Esports Center on 29 March 2021.

The League of Legends World Championship is the annual professional League of Legends world championship tournament hosted by Riot Games and is the culmination of each season. Teams compete for the champion title, the 70-pound (32-kilogram) Summoner's Cup, and a multi-million-dollar championship prize. In 2018, the final was watched by 99.6 million people, breaking 2017's final's viewer record. The tournament has been praised for its ceremonial performances, while receiving attention worldwide due to its dramatic and emotional nature.
The League of Legends Pro League (LPL) is the top-level professional league for League of Legends in China. The first season of the LPL was the 2013 Spring season. The top three finishers of the playoff tournament receive automatic bids to the League of Legends World Championship. Playoffs are an eight team single elimination with each step a best-of-five series. The total prize pool is ¥2,350,000. In 2014 Riot Games began providing an English language broadcast. The format is modeled after the League of Legends Champions Korea format in South Korea. In September 2015 it was announced that Riot Games was in negotiations with Tencent to take over operations of the league. In 2019, Riot Games and Tencent created joint venture, TJ Sports, to focus on all League of Legends esports business in China, including tournament organizing, talent management, and venues.
Jian Zihao, better known by his in-game name Uzi, is a Chinese professional League of Legends player for Bilibili Gaming. Widely regarded as the greatest AD carry of all time, he is renowned for his mechanical prowess on champions such as Vayne, Kai'Sa, Ezreal and Kog'Maw. He was well known as the franchise player for Royal Never Give Up and its predecessors, although he also played briefly for OMG and Newbee.

Founded in 2017, Shanghai Dragons are one of the league's twelve founding members and are one of four professional Overwatch teams based in China. The team is owned by Chinese internet technology company NetEase, who also own Team CC, an academy team for the Dragons that compete in Overwatch Contenders.
The Houston Outlaws are an American professional Overwatch esports team based in Houston, Texas. The Outlaws compete in the Overwatch League (OWL) as a member of the league's West region.
Seoul Infernal is a professional Overwatch esports team based in Seoul, South Korea. The Infernal compete in the Overwatch League (OWL) as a member of the league's East region. Founded in 2017 as the Philadelphia Fusion, it is one of the league's twelve founding members and was the first professional esports team based in Pennsylvania. The team is owned by Comcast Spectacor, who also own the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (NHL). It also manages Fusion University and T1, academy teams for the Infernal that compete in Overwatch Contenders.
NYXL is a collective esports and gaming organization based in New York. Launched under the name Andbox in 2019 by Sterling.VC, an investment fund backed by Sterling Equities, to operate esports franchises New York Excelsior and New York Subliners, it was the first esports organization in New York to span multiple franchises. The organization established two more esports teams by 2021, and in March 2022, it rebranded as NYXL.

The team is owned by Nenking Group and is managed by the esports brand of Nenking, Ultra Prime Esports.
Chengdu Hunters is a Chinese professional Overwatch esports team based in Chengdu, Sichuan. The Hunters compete in the Overwatch League (OWL) as a member of the league's East region. The team is owned by Huya, Inc., a Chinese interactive broadcast platform and was operated by Royal Never Give Up (RNG) throughout the 2019 and 2020 OWL seasons. The Hunters also formerly had partnership with Overwatch Contenders the team LGE.Huya to act as the team's academy team. Founded in 2018, Chengdu Hunters began play as one of eight expansion teams in 2019 and is one of four professional Overwatch teams in China. Since inception, the Hunters have qualified for the season playoffs once, in 2021.

Its League of Legends team competes in the League of Legends Pro League (LPL), the top-level league for the game in China, and plays home games at the Yangcheng International Esports Center in Suzhou.
Envy Gaming, Inc was a collective esports and gaming company. It was originally founded in 2007 by Tosh "Stainville" Mcgruder and Skyler "Foreplayy" Johnson as a Call of Duty esports team known as Team EnVyUs. Envy Gaming, LLC was formed in October 2012 and incorporated as Envy Gaming, Inc in May 2016. The company owned and operated several esports teams, including Team Envy, the Dallas Fuel of the Overwatch League, and the OpTic Texas of the Call of Duty League with OpTic Gaming. In June 2022, it was announced Envy Gaming would retire the Envy brand, and fully become OpTic Gaming.
The One Winner, or simply T1w, is a Chinese esports team for the video game Overwatch competing in Overwatch Contenders (OWC). The team is a former academy team for the Guangzhou Charge of the Overwatch League (OWL). The team was founded under the name Miracle Team One; after the formation of T1w Esports Club, the owner of the team, the team rebranded to The One Winner and rebranded, again, to T1w.GZA after becoming the academy team for the Charge. T1w plays in the China region of OWC, and since inception, they have won one OWC regional title and multiple other major tournaments not affiliated with Overwatch Contenders.

OverActive Media (OAM), previously known as The Ledger Group, is a esports and entertainment company that fields teams across multiple esports titles through its subsidiaries, including the Overwatch League and Call of Duty League. They also own esports organization MAD Lions, competing in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and League of Legends as part of Spain's SuperLiga Orange and the League of Legends European Championship, respectively.
The 2021 Overwatch League season was the fourth season of the Overwatch League (OWL), a professional esports league for the video game Overwatch. The regular season began on April 16, 2021, and concluded on August 21. The season featured four midseason tournaments throughout the regular season along with a new point system for season playoff seeding. Similar to the 2020 season, teams are split into two geographical regions. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most matches were played online, with the exception of several live events throughout the season. The season marks the second year of the Overwatch League's broadcast partnership with YouTube, their third with Sport1, and their first with Bilibili.
