"Tradición" ("Tradition") is a 1993 song by American singer and songwriter Gloria Estefan. It was released as the third single from her first all Spanish-language album, Mi Tierra. The track debuted at number 28 on September 28, 1993 and peaked at number 1 on November 13, 1993 spending 4 weeks in pole position. An English version was also recorded entitled "If We Were Lovers" and is included on the international pressing of the maxi-single.

The recording of the album started in 1981, when she left her former record label seeking less control over her personal and creative life. Due to this change, her previous single releases "La guapa", and "El ascensor", released in 1977 and 1980 respectively, were not included in this record.
Quiéreme aunque te duela is the fourth studio album by Spanish female rock singer-songwriter Luz Casal, which was released in 1987, two years after her successful previous release. This is the last album of Luz Casal produced by Carlos Narea and also her last release under Zafiro, her record label. As usual, the singer wrote the most of the songs with the collaboration of her executive producer and other artists such as the Colombian musician Chucho Merchán. Unlike in the previous albums in which the performer used to release three Maxi singles, in this one four singles were released.

Como la flor prometida is the seventh studio album of the Spanish singer-songwriter Luz Casal, released in 1995 after a four-year hiatus due to the unexpected success of A Contraluz, her previous album. After thinking about her career, the performer returned to the recording studios in Madrid and London and apart from counting with the production of Chucho Merchán and Paco Trinidad, she also started collaborating with other artists such as Albert Hammond and Carlos Goñi, lead member of the band Revolver amongst others.
"Malas Compañías" is the second studio album of the Spanish singer-songwriter Joaquín Sabina, which was released under CBS, in 1980. Sabina started working in this new album short after the release of his previous album, Inventario, two years before.
