Unchain (アンチェイン, Anchein, stylized as UNCHAIN) is a three-piece Japanese rock band formed in Kyōtango, Kyoto, in 1996.
Initially known for their unique alternative rock style, they later developed a pop rock-neo soul style, including funk and dance elements. The band has scored two top-40 hit singles in Japan and their latest original album N.E.W.S. reached No. 1 on alternative rock chart of Oricon, which is equivalent of the Billboard in the United States.
Formed in 1996, Unchain initially consisted of junior high classmates Masanori Tanigawa, Hiroaki Tani, and Shogo Yoshida. Masafumi Sato would later join a year later as their junior a year below.
The band would later move to Osaka and were able to steadily get gigs to play at. In 2005, the band made their indie debut with the mini-album the space of the sense. On October of the same year, Unchain made their first appearance on MINAMI WHEEL 2005. The band made their major debut with the album departure.
Masafumi Sato departed from the band on June 18, 2020 following a livestream that was aired in place of the planned 24years "BEST" Tour. [1] The tour was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Sato announced plans to depart from the band on November 18, 2019 however. [2]

Fishmans are a Japanese band formed in 1987 in Minato, Tokyo. They are known for their unique psychedelic sound and the distinctive vocals of the late lead singer Shinji Sato, as well as the drum playing of Kin-Ichi Motegi and rocksteady basslines of Yuzuru Kashiwabara. Fishmans remained relatively underground and disbanded with the sudden death of Shinji Sato in 1999, but later accumulated an international cult following largely driven by their popular acclaim on internet discussion boards. In a 2019 article for The Japan Times, James Hadfield wrote that their albums Aerial Camp and Long Season "are now undisputed landmarks in the Japanese rock canon."

Takada often collaborates with guitarist and composer Jun Fukuda, and has worked on multiple projects for Goichi Suda's studio Grasshopper Manufacture.

Atsushi Satō, known as Atsushi or Exile Atsushi is a Japanese singer-songwriter and part-time producer. Debuting as a member of the band EXILE in 2001, Atsushi is currently one of the main vocalists for the group. In 2004, Atsushi began working as a producer for the group Deep, and in 2011 released his debut solo single "Itsuka Kitto...". In 2016, he announced his temporary hiatus from EXILE and formed a new band named Red Diamond Dogs. Atsushi returned to EXILE in 2018 and later graduated from the group in December 2020 to focus on his solo activities. Atsushi rejoined the Exile Power of Wish tour on a limited basis in 2022 and announced that he would officially return to Exile's activities on the last day of the tour, 21 December 2022.

Junko Ohashi was a Japanese singer best known for her songs "Silhouette Romance" (1981) and "Tasogare My Love" (1978). She was known for her "overwhelming singing ability" and was mainly successful between late 1970s and early 1980s. Her discography consist of more than 20 albums. After a brief hiatus battling esophageal and breast cancer, she returned to music in 2019 before dying from her esophageal cancer, which had returned in 2023.
