Universal TV is a television channel in New Zealand available on Sky. [1] The channel is dedicated to international crime and drama procedural programing.
On 6 April 2021, Sky announced it had signed an extensive multi-year deal with NBCUniversal to launch a New Zealand version of Universal TV. [2]
The channel launched on 30 April 2021 at 6:00am on Sky Channel 210. The first program to air on the channel was Monk.

USA Network is an American basic cable television channel owned by the NBCUniversal Television and Streaming division of Comcast's NBCUniversal through NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. It was originally launched in 1977 as Madison Square Garden Sports Network, one of the first national sports cable television channels, before being relaunched under its current name on April 9, 1980. Since then, USA steadily gained popularity through its original programming, a long-established partnership with WWE and, for many years, limited sports programming that increased significantly in 2022 after the shutdown of NBCSN.
Sky Network Television Limited, more commonly known as Sky, is a New Zealand broadcasting company that provides pay television services via satellite, media streaming services and broadband internet services.
