The University of Oregon College of Education (also known as the College of Education, or COE) is the University of Oregon's education school. The college was established in 1910. [1]
The college engages in teaching and research in areas that are allied with the field of education. In the Spring of 2021, UO announced a $425 million gift for children's behavioural health. [2]
According to U.S. News & World Report, the College of Education ranks 12th overall and 5th among public universities. [3] Additionally, the college's special education program ranks 3rd in the country, according to the same publication.

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is a public research university focusing primarily on health sciences with a main campus, including two hospitals, in Portland, Oregon. The institution was founded in 1887 as the University of Oregon Medical Department and later became the University of Oregon Medical School. In 1974, the campus became an independent, self-governed institution called the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center, combining state dentistry, medicine, nursing, and public health programs into a single center. It was renamed Oregon Health Sciences University in 1981 and took its current name in 2001, as part of a merger with the Oregon Graduate Institute (OGI), in Hillsboro. The university has several partnership programs including a joint PharmD Pharmacy program with Oregon State University in Corvallis.

The Robert D. Clark Honors College is a liberal arts honors college within the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, United States. Founded in 1960, it is the oldest honors college in the United States. Its namesake, Robert D. Clark, was a president of the university, 1969-1975, and a key contributor to the founding of the honors college. The college is located in Chapman Hall on the University of Oregon campus. For Fall 2015, 1,439 students applied and 240 students enrolled in the college.

Hallie Brown Ford was an American business person and philanthropist. A native of Oklahoma, she acquired her wealth in Oregon through the timber industry. As a philanthropist she made donations to many institutions in Oklahoma and Oregon to support education and the arts. Shortly before her death in 2007, she made a donation of $15 million to the Pacific Northwest College of Art, the largest single donation to any cultural group in Oregon history.
