Urlabari is a town and municipality in Morang District in the Koshi Zone of south-eastern Nepal which is considered as the second largest city in Morang District after Biratnagar.

Urlabari is a city and municipality in Morang District in the Koshi Zone of south-eastern Nepal. It is considered to be the second largest city in Morang District after Biratnagar. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 18,224. [1] At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 35,166 and 8,165 households.

It is located 60 km eastern part of the metropolitan city Biratnagar. Urlabari, Morang. Jhapa lies to the east of this municipality. From 2011 census the total population is 54,696. where 29,548 are the woman and 25,148 are men lived with 12,530 households. The population of the municipality rose to 70,908 at the 2021 Nepal census. 99.6% of the residents were Nepali citizens and 84.8% were literate in 2021. [2]

Urlabari is bordered by Damak Municipality in the east, Patharisanichare Municipality and Letang Municipality in the west, Miklajung Village Development Committee in the north, and Ratuwamai municipality in the south.

Government education institutes: There are fair number of government education institutes, including Urlabari Bahumukhi Campus, Radhika Higher Secondary School, Sunpakkwa Higher Secondary, Radhika Secondary School, Srijana Secondary School, Durga Secondary School,Sunjhoda Higher Secondary School. Some of the most recognisable private schools are Pashupati Higher Secondary school, Morang Model School,Bhrikuti Model Academy.

There are more 20 privately held secondary schools and higher schools.

Hariwan Municipality, also known as Harion Municipality, is a municipality in Sarlahi District Janakpur zone, Nepal. Its neighbours are Urlabari municipality to its south, Damak municipality to its east and south, and Illam district to its north. This village is at a distance of 7.3 km north of Urlabari

Jhorahat is a village development committee in Morang District in the Koshi Zone of south-eastern Nepal. According to the most recent administrative division, Jhorahat is in Gramthan Gaunpalika Ward Number-2 of Province Number 1 of Nepal. In the south, it is bordered to Biratnagar metropolitan city, the second largest city of Nepal. At the time of the 2001 Nepal census it had a population of 4844 people with 2457 male population and 2387 female population.

Letang, "लेटाङ " is a municipality in Morang District in the Koshi Province of Nepal. It was formed by merging the existing Village Development Committees of Letang, Jante, Warrangi and Bhogateni. This municipality is situated in Hilly Region as well as Terai Region. Previously it was called Letang Bhogateni but now it's known as Letang.

Rajghat is a small village in the Urlabari Municipality, comprising two wards; 8 and 9 in the Morang District in the Koshi Zone of south-eastern Nepal. It is located in North-East part of Morang and 1.5 kilometers south of the East West national highway of Nepal. Durgapuri Bazar is the local town of Rajghat. This place is one of the major habitat of indigenous Dhimal, Santhal,and Mushahar communities.

Sijuwa is a part of Ratuwamai municipality in Morang District in the Kosi Zone of south-eastern Nepal. To the north, it is bordered by Itahara; to the south, Jhurkiya; to the east, Jhapa and to the west, Govindapur.

It is one of the fastest growing cities in eastern Nepal and the second largest city of Morang district after Biratnagar, with 121,305 inhabitants living in 26,677 households. It consists of the town centres of Biratchowk and Gothgaun which are parts of the Greater Birat Development Area which incorporates the cities of Biratnagar-Itahari-Gothgau-Biratchowk-Dharan primarily located on the Koshi Highway in Eastern Nepal, with an estimated total urban agglomerated population of 804,300 people living in 159,332 households.
