Valentina Uccheddu (born 26 October 1966 in Oristano) is a retired Italian long jumper.
She briefly held the Italian record with 6.80 metres from Sestriere in 1994, but the same year Fiona May became an Italian citizen. May would later improve the Italian record to 7.11 m.

The long jump is a track and field event in which athletes combine speed, strength and agility in an attempt to leap as far as possible from a takeoff point. Along with the triple jump, the two events that measure jumping for distance as a group are referred to as the "horizontal jumps". This event has a history in the ancient Olympic Games and has been a modern Olympic event for men since the first Olympics in 1896 and for women since 1948.
Giovanni Evangelisti is a retired long jumper from Italy. His greatest achievements were the Olympic bronze medal in 1984 and three World Indoor bronze medals. He finished fourth at the 1988 Olympics.
