Roberta Brunet (born 20 May 1965 in Aosta) is a former middle distance runner from Italy
Roberta Brunet won four medals, at individual level, at the International athletics competitions. [1] She participated at four editions of the Summer Olympics (1988, 1992, 1996 and 2000), she has 41 caps in sixteen years in national team from 1983 to 2000. [2] She won a bronze medal in the European Championships in 3,000 metres in 1990 and then won a bronze medal in the 5,000 metres at the 1996 Summer Olympics, a silver medal in the same discipline at the 1997 World Championships and a bronze medal in the 3,000 metres at the 1990 European Championships. She is a two-time national champion in the women's 5.000 metres.

Saïd Aouita is a former Moroccan track and field athlete. He is the only athlete in history to have won a medal in each of the 800 meters and 5000 meters at the Olympic games. He won the 5000 meters at the 1984 Summer Olympics and the 1987 World Championships in Athletics, as well as the 3000 meters at the 1989 IAAF World Indoor Championships. He is a former world record holder over 1500 metres (3:29.46), 2000 m (4:50.81), 3000 m (7:29.45), and twice at 5000 m. He lives in Orlando, Florida.
Maria Fernanda Moreira Ribeiro, GCIH, is a long-distance runner born in Penafiel, Portugal. The pinnacle of her career was at the 1996 Summer Olympics when she won the women's 10000 m gold medal, establishing a new Olympic record of 31:01.63. Her victory gave Portugal its third Olympic gold medal.

Yvonne Carole Grace Murray-Mooney, is a Scottish former middle-distance and long-distance track and road-running athlete. She won a bronze medal in the 3000 metres at the 1988 Olympic Games, and gold medals at this distance at the 1987 European Indoor Championships, the 1993 World Indoor Championships and the 1990 European Championships. Annette Sergent is a French former long-distance runner. She represented her country three times at the Summer Olympics, but it was in cross country running that she had her greatest success. She became the first Frenchwoman to win a world title in the sport at the 1987 IAAF World Cross Country Championships and won for a second time in 1989. Crippa claimed four medals in the age-group races at the European Cross Country Championships and a bronze in the senior race in 2019.
Nadia Battocletti is an Italian female middle- and long-distance runner. She won the gold medal in the 5000 m and 10000 m races at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome. At the 2024 Summer Olympics, Battocletti won a silver medal in the 10,000 m and placed fourth in the 5000 m race.
