Gabriella Dorio (born 27 June 1957 in Veggiano, Veneto) is an Italian former athlete and Olympic gold winner. She won two medals, at senior level, at the International athletics competitions. [1]
She first participated in the 1976 Summer Olympics, placing sixth in the 1500 metres race then ran the same event and placed fifth in Summer Olympics 4 years later. She won the gold medal at the 1982 European Indoor Championships, the bronze medal at the 1982 European Championships, and finally the gold medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, beating the Romanians Doina Melinte (silver) and Maricica Puică (bronze).
She has 65 caps in national team from 1973 to 1991. [2]

Nikolina Pavlova Shtereva is a retired Bulgarian middle-distance runner who specialised in the 800 and 1500 metres. At the 1991 Mediterranean Games, the athletics events were held at the Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece. A total of 38 events were contested, of which 23 by male and 15 by female athletes. An exhibition heptathlon also took place, with Algeria's Yasmina Azzizi being the only athlete to compete. Several hundred athletes from fourteen Mediterranean nations took part in the competition.
Tamara Aleksandrovna Sorokina is a Russian former Soviet middle-distance runner who competed in both the 800 metres and the 1500 metres. She set personal bests of 1:56.6 minutes and 3:58.89 minutes for the events, respectively.
