Valerie Welsh (born April 14, 1988) was a Canadian synchronized swimmer.
Welsh won a gold at the 2011 Pan American Games in the team event. [1] She competed in the women's team event at the 2012 Summer Olympics, finishing fourth. [2] Welsh retired from synchronized swimming after the 2012 Olympics. [3]

Anouk Renière-Lafrenière is a Canadian synchronized swimmer. She won a bronze medal at a 2002 world cup tournament in Zurich, Switzerland in the duet event. She was a member of the 2004 Olympic team in Athens, finishing fifth.

Canada, represented by the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom, from 27 July to 12 August 2012. Canadian athletes have competed in every Summer Olympic Games since 1900, except the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow because of the country's support for the United States-led boycott. Canada sent a total of 281 athletes to the Games to compete in 24 sports. The COC set a goal of finishing in the top 12 for total medals; but the nation failed to achieve this, finishing with a total of 18 medals. Canada matched its total medal count from Beijing 2008. At London, with the initiation of its "Own the Podium" programme, Canada finished 13th in total medals, thus improving on its 14th place performance in Beijing while falling somewhat short of its self-declared goal of 12th position. It finished the event with 18 medals: two gold, six silver and 10 bronze.

Jin Na is a former synchronized swimmer from China. Jin competed in the women's team event at both the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics, finishing in seventh place on both occasions. After retiring from the pool, she became the senior team coach for the Chinese national team from 2004 to 2012. Jin now works as a coach for the Waterloo Regional Synchronized Swimming Club in Canada.
Julie Sauvé was a Canadian synchronized swimming coach. Sauvé began her coaching career with the Club Aquatique Montréal Olympique in the 1970s before joining the Canadian synchronized swimming team in 1982. She continued to coach at the Club Aquatique Montréal Olympique until she was fired in 1993. While with the Canadian synchronized swimming team, Sauvé coached Olympic medallists Sylvie Fréchette, Penny Vilagos and Vicky Vilagos. After leaving the Canadian team in 2012, Sauvé coached the synchronized swimming teams of Brazil and Singapore during the remainder of the 2010s. Sauvé was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame in 2012.
