Annabelle Orme (born 9 March 1987) is an American synchronized swimmer who competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics. [1]

Annabelle Mary Cripps Olympian / Author: Rescue Me: A Powerful Memoir By An Olympian, represented Great Britain at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1984. At her 1984 Summer Games Olympic debut in Los Angeles, she placed sixth in the women's 4×100-metre freestyle relay, followed by finishing 14th in the women's 800-metre freestyle and then 15th in the 200-metre freestyle four years later at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea.

Annabelle Laure Ali is a female freestyle wrestler from Cameroon. She participated in the Women's Freestyle 72 kg event at the 2008 Summer Olympics, where she lost in the 1/8 final to Agnieszka Wieszczek. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she lost to Stanka Zlateva in the quarterfinals. As Zlateva proceeded to the final, Ali was part of the bronze medal repechage, where she lost to Vasilisa Marzaliuk. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she was also the Cameroonian flag-bearer at the opening ceremony.

Vanja Perišić is a Croatian middle distance runner, who specialized in the 800 metres. Perisic represented Croatia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed for the women's 800 metres. She ran in the third heat of the event, against six other athletes, including Kenya's Pamela Jelimo, who eventually won the gold medal in the final. She finished the race in sixth place by seventy-one hundredths of a second (0.71) behind Mauritius' Annabelle Lascar, with a time of 2:06.82. Perišić, however, failed to advance into the semi-finals, as she placed thirty-fifth overall, and was ranked farther below three mandatory slots for the next round.

As of 2006, she currently holds a New Zealand record of 1:09.26 in the 100 m breaststroke from the World Championship Trials in Auckland. In the same year she helped out the New Zealand team to pull off a fourth-place effort in the medley relay at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia, with a record-breaking time of 4:06.30.
