Very Proud of Ya is the second studio album by American rock band AFI. It was released on June 18, 1996, through Nitro Records.
The liner notes of the album state that all the tracks are copyrighted to Anthems for Insubordinates, while the mailing address states the band's name as Asking for It. It is the last album to feature bassist Geoff Kresge, who illustrated the album cover as well. [4] The album features future band member Jade Puget performing back-up vocals. [4] It was recorded in about a week. [5]
The tracks "Two of a Kind" and "Yürf Rendenmein" were re-recorded from their debut album Answer That and Stay Fashionable . The title of "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" is a reference to the song of the same name by Sammy Fain and Paul Francis Webster, although it is not a cover.
A music video, the band's first, was made for "He Who Laughs Last..." [5] Directed by Darren Doane and Ken Daurio, it draws inspiration from the film Goodfellas (1990). [6]
The songs "Cruise Control" and "Love Is a Many Splendored Thing" were used in the 1996 independent film Mary Jane's Not a Virgin Anymore , which was first screened in 1997 and also features Havok in a small role.

AFI is an American rock band from Ukiah, California, formed in 1991. Since 1998, it consists of lead vocalist Davey Havok, drummer and backing vocalist Adam Carson, bassist, backing vocalist and keyboardist Hunter Burgan, and guitarist, backing vocalist and keyboardist Jade Puget. Havok and Carson are the sole remaining original members. Originally a hardcore punk band, they have since delved into many genres, starting with horror punk and following through post-hardcore and emo into alternative rock and gothic rock.

David Paden Marchand, known professionally as Davey Havok, is an American singer and musician who is the lead vocalist of the rock band AFI, the synth-pop band Blaqk Audio, the hardcore punk band XTRMST, and the new wave band Dreamcar. Among various other ventures, he performed lead vocals for Son of Sam's debut album and for fictional band My Purple Agony in the animated series Harvey Girls Forever!.

Adam Alexander Carson is the drummer of the alternative rock band AFI. He and Davey Havok are the two original members left in the lineup. Carson also filled in as drummer for the psychobilly band Tiger Army. His drumming can be found on Tiger Army's Early Years EP as well as their debut album Tiger Army. Carson was also a member of Influence 13 – a band formed by Nick 13, Jade Puget, Geoff Kresge, and two other friends.
Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes is the third studio album by American punk rock band AFI. It was released on November 11, 1997, through Nitro Records.
Geoff Kresge is a songwriter, guitarist, bassist, and record producer. He played with the punk group AFI for most of their early career, from 1992 through 1997, and co-wrote the majority of their early material alongside frontman Davey Havok. During an AFI hiatus in 1993, he briefly moved to New York to join street punk band Blanks 77. He later went on to play with Canadian horror rock group The Forbidden Dimension and also a high-energy rock band, The Daggers, before subsequently joining the psychobilly band Tiger Army. Though he played an electric bass in his previous bands, the upright bass is used for Tiger Army's music.

Eddie Picnic's All Wet is a live EP by American rock band AFI. It was recorded on December 29, 1993 during a show at The Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, California and released on March 18, 1994 through Key Lime Pie Records. 201 copies were produced on pink vinyl for its first pressing. The second pressing was limited to 100. A reissue, featuring slightly different artwork and remastered tracks, was announced in 2015 and released in 2016 after a pressing delay. The reissue was handled by Atom Age Industries, a company owned by former AFI bassist Geoff Kresge.
This Is Berkeley Not West Bay is an extended play released on June 1, 1994 by Zafio Records. It features AFI, Black Fork, Dead and Gone and Screw 32. There were 2 identical pressings in 1994 and 1995, both on black vinyl. The first was 2,000, the 2nd was 1,000.
Fly in the Ointment is the third extended play released by AFI. It was released on the March 31, 1995 on Wedge Records. Tracks 1–3 were re-recorded for Very Proud of Ya, and "Open Your Eyes" is on the re-release of Answer That and Stay Fashionable but with different vocal tracks and mix.

Music from Regions Beyond is the fourth full-length Tiger Army album, released on June 5, 2007. The album was produced by Jerry Finn. Unlike their previous albums, it does not have a numeral in the title. The album title comes from a line spoken in the Disneyland ride The Haunted Mansion, in the Séance room of the ride. The album reached No. 49 on the Billboard 200.
CexCells is the debut studio album by the American electronic duo Blaqk Audio. It was initially scheduled to be released on August 7, 2007, however, it was rescheduled and released a week further on August 14, 2007 through Interscope Records. It debuted at number 18 on the Billboard 200, selling more than 29,000 copies within its first week. It received mixed reviews from music critics. It spawned one single: "Stiff Kittens".
XTRMST was an American straight edge hardcore punk band featuring Davey Havok and Jade Puget of AFI. XTRMST was Havok and Puget's second side project together, after their electronic project Blaqk Audio. They released their debut album XTRMST in 2014 on long-time friend Steve Aoki's Dim Mak Records. Havok and Puget later added Chris Sorenson (Saosin) on bass, Josh James on guitar, and Val Saucedo on drums.
"Looking Tragic" and "Begging for Trouble" are two songs released as a joint single by American rock band AFI. The songs were released on February 25, 2021, as the second joint single for the band's 11th album, Bodies.
