Quincy is a city in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. It is the largest city in the county. Quincy is part of the Greater Boston area as one of Boston's immediate southern suburbs. Its population in 2020 was 101,636, making it the seventh-largest city in the state. Known as the "City of Presidents", Quincy is the birthplace of two U.S. presidents—John Adams and his son John Quincy Adams—as well as John Hancock, the first signer of the Declaration of Independence and the first and third governor of Massachusetts.

QU Stadium is a stadium in Quincy, Illinois originally known as Q Stadium. It is primarily used for baseball, but also has a separate football field. The baseball side of QU Stadium holds 2,000 people and the football/lacrosse side of holds 1,600 people. The football side of the stadium only has bleachers on one side of the field. The stadium is surrounded by its original limestone wall built in 1938.

The 2019 Major League Lacrosse season was the 19th season of Major League Lacrosse. The regular season began on Friday, May 31 and ended on Sunday, September 22. It was the first time the league would ever begin its season after Memorial Day, allowing all players selected in the collegiate draft to play a full season. 2019 also marks the first time each team would play 16 games. The league has played a 14-game schedule since 2012. Additionally, the league returned to a Championship Weekend format instead of a two-week postseason for the first time since 2013. Championship Weekend was hosted in Denver with two semifinal games on Friday, October 4 and the 19th Steinfeld Cup was hosted at Dick's Sporting Goods Park October 6 on ESPN2.
The 2019 Boston Cannons season will be the nineteenth season for the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse. Sean Quirk enters his fourth season as head coach, after leading the team to a 5-9 record in 2018, which was a two-win improvement from 2017. 2019 will be the team's first summer at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Quincy after most recently playing at Harvard Stadium. With this move, the team will invest $1.5 million in stadium expansion and improvements, bringing capacity up to 5,000.

The 2020 Boston Cannons Lacrosse season was the 20th season in club history and their last season in the Major League Lacrosse. It would be a successful sendoff, as the Cannons would win the last MLL Championship. They would play their games at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The 2021 Cannons Lacrosse Club season was the Cannons Lacrosse Club's 21st season and their first Premier Lacrosse League season.
