Viboyo Oweyo, real name Nsubuga Moses, [1] is a Ugandan musician and record producer. [2] He is signed to Swangz Avenue. [3] He's credited for his rap ups every year ( a compilation of events that happened throughout the year.) He has collaborated with music heavy weights like Radio and Weasel "Nyumbani", Cindy Sanyu, "nyumirwa", Irene Ntale, In "Banyilila", "St Nelly Sade in rap up 2018", and Gnl Zamba vocals appeared on his rap up 2019.

Music

Viboyo Oweyo was born in 1984 to Nsubuga Moses. He started his music career in 1997 with hip-hop. In 2002 he changed to Afro-beat and released songs like "Owino Muwulire". He released his first album, Boyo's Dream, in 2005. [4] [5]

He put his music career on hold to promote and write songs for other musicians. He was an artist manager and producer. He returned to music in 2010 with songs like "Gyembadde", "Muzik"and "Nyumbani" ft. Radio and Weasel. [6] His second album, Kiwundo Afilliationz (The Masterpiece) was released in 2014. His third album, Desire, is scheduled for release in 2015.

Viboyo Oweyo's music is distributed by CDrun International, an international company that distributes music through different channels. His music is also available on YouTube, SoundCloud, and iTunes.

Moses Nakintije Ssekibogo, also known as Mowzey Radio, sometimes referred to as Moses Radio, was a Ugandan musician. He was one of the main performers of the Ugandan music group Goodlyfe Crew together with Jose Chameleone's brother Weasel Manizo.

Aziz Mukasa, popularly known by his stage name Aziz Azion, is a Ugandan R&B singer-songwriter and musician. He was born Aziz Mukasa on 27 July 1986 in Fort Portal, Uganda and raised in Kampala where he studied up to Senior 4 and he made his move into the music industry. Popularly known as "the guitar emperor", Aziz has graced the Ugandan and East African music charts with the songs 'Yegwe', 'Nkumila Omukwano', 'Nakupenda', 'Oxygen', 'Beera Nange', 'Nzikiriza', 'Pain Killer', and 'Yo Love', among others. Popular music promoter and veteran disc spinner DJ Erycom while appearing on a TV Show, he said that "Leero Monday" was the very first song composed and sung by Aziz Azion in the year 2007.

Rehema Namakula, known professionally as Rema Namakula or simply Rema, is a Ugandan singer, songwriter and record producer.

DJ Shiru is a Ugandan disc jockey. He started his career at the age of 17 following his brother, a famous Dj Rota in Kampala, Uganda. Together with DJ Rota, DJ Shiru was one of the first Disc Jockeys to play music for international artists in Uganda. He is a show host of the DanceFloor at one of Uganda's top stations 97.7 Record FM.

Daniel Lubwama Kigozi is a Ugandan rapper and record producer. Pius Mayanja known by his stage name Pallaso is a Ugandan recording artist, songwriter, producer and videographer. He sings in Luganda, mixes with English and sometimes Kiswahili. His music genre specialty is Afrobeats, Hip hop, Dancehall, Afropop, and RnB. His musical journey started back in 2000 when he started out at Leone Island, a musical group owned by his older brother, Dr. Jose Chameleone. Ray Signature has written and produced songs for several prominent artists in East Africa, including Irene Ntale, Rema Namakula, Juliana Kanyomozi, Fille, Allan Toniks among others. Signature also produces music for campaigns like Reach A Hand Uganda.

Sheebah Karungi is a Ugandan musician, dancer, actress and feminist activist. She debuted her acting career in Queen of Katwe as Shakira. After quitting Obsessions, a dance group she joined in 2006, she started making music and later rose to recognition upon the release of her hit single "Ice Cream". In 2014, she released her debut project Ice Cream, a five-track EP which did well commercially and led her to win back-to-back HiPipo Music Awards Best Female Artist in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. She also won the Artist of the Year award twice, in 2017, 2018, and 2019 at the HiPipo Music Awards.

Namukwaya Hajara Diana, also known as Spice Diana, is a Ugandan musician. She started her music career early and studied at Makerere University. Her first manager was Dr Fizol of Avie Records, and she was later managed by Twinkle Star under a fellow musician Kalifah AgaNaga in 2016. She has had several singles including "Anti Kale", "Bukete" and "Bimpe". Spice Diana has also collaborated with both local and international artists that include Pallaso, Ray G, Aganaga and Jamaican Orisha Sound among others.

Kampala Boy is the first studio album by Ugandan musician Flex D'Paper, released on 10 December 2021. The album features guest appearances from Swae Lee on the intro and songs with Navio, Fik Fameica, A Pass, Keko, Shena skies, Wake the Poet, Mozelo Kidz, Kemishan, Lagum the rapper. The production includes Aethan Music, Mio Made, Sam Lamara, Wake the Poet, Bad Chwezi and Lucian.
