Maria Vicenta Licup Vega-Cabigting (born May 30,1966),also known as Vicky Vega or Vicky Vega-Cabigting, [1] is a Filipino politician who served as Vice Mayor of Angeles City from 2019 to 2025;a position she previously held from 2007 to 2016. She also served as Councilor of Angeles City from 2001 to 2007.
Vega was born on May 30,1966 in Angeles City. She studied Holy Angel University for her high school education. She studied University of the Philippines Diliman where she finished the degree of Mass Communication.
Vega started politics in 2001 when she entered as councilor in Angeles City.
In 2007,Vega was elected and became a first female vice mayor of Angeles City for three consecutive terms. [2]
In 2016 elections,Vega ran for mayor of Angeles City but she lost to Edgardo Pamintuan Sr.
In 2019 elections,Vega came back as vice mayor of Angeles City. [3] [4] [5]
In 2025,Vega lost to Amos Rivera for re-election as vice mayor of Angeles City. [6] [7]
Vega is married to Arthur Cabigting and has two sons. [8]
