Viseyie Koso (born 25 March 1984) is an Indian professional Sepak Takraw player from Nagaland. In 2010, Koso became the first Naga sportsman to represent India at the 2010 Asian Games held in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. He also participated in the 2014 Asian Games held at Incheon in the Seoul National Capital Area, South Korea. [1]
Viseyie Koso was born on 25 March 1984, in Viswema, Nagaland. [2] Koso did his graduation from St. Joseph's College, Jakhama.
Koso participated in the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou that was held from 16 to 20 November at the Haizhu Sports Center becoming the first Naga sportsman to represent India at an Asian Games.
At the 17th Asian Games in 2014 in Korea, Koso and Keneileno Nakhro along with Nagaland Sepaktakraw coach, Holshe Khrie-o represented the Indian Sepaktakraw team.
Koso also participated in the 30th Kings Cup, Sepaktakraw World Championship in Bangkok, held from 4 to 10 May. The Indian Men team won Bronze medal in Regu event.
Nagaland is a state in the north-eastern region of India. The National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) is a Naga militant and separatist group operating mainly in northeastern part of India, with minor activities in northwest Myanmar (Burma). The main aim of the organisation is allegedly to establish a sovereign Naga state, "Nagalim", which would consist of all the areas inhabited by Naga tribes in Northeast India and northwest Myanmar. India claims that China and Pakistan provide financial support and weaponry to the NSCN. Drug trafficking and extortion are believed to be other major sources of income for the NSCN.

Vizol Vitso-n Koso was an Indian politician from Nagaland who served as the 4th Chief Minister of Nagaland twice from February 1974 until March 1975 and November 1977 until April 1980. He became the Chief Minister of Nagaland as part of the United Democratic Front (Nagaland).
Viswema is a Southern Angami Naga village in the Kohima District of the Indian state of Nagaland. With a resident population of 7417, it is the second biggest village in the state and is part of the contiguous built-up of the Kohima Metropolitan Area that extends into the neighboring areas of Jakhama, Kigwema and Khuzama in the Southern Angami region, forming the second largest urban agglomerations in Nagaland. Its vast territory also lies across the inter-state boundary in Manipur where notable features including Mount Tempü (Iso) at 9822 feet (2994m) also the highest peak in Manipur, the thick forest of Kezol-tsa and a major portion of the Dzüko Valley is located.
Koso is an Angami Naga surname in Nagaland. It is a family name of the Yeri-mi clan from Viswema. The descendants are referred to as Kosonümiko.
