Vishnu Narayanan is an Indian cinematographer who works in Malayalam cinema. He debuted as a cinematographer in 2012 with Asuravithu . He has been a frequent collaborator of director Ranjith Sankar, with whom he has worked on Punyalan Private Limited (2017), Njan Marykutty (2018), and Pretham 2 (2018). Vishnu's notable films include Vellimoonga (2014), Aadu (2015),its sequel Aadu 2 (2017), Malikappuram (2022) and Anand Sreebala (2024).

Jayasurya is an Indian actor, film producer, playback singer, and impressionist who works in Malayalam films. He has appeared in more than 100 films and has won several awards, including a National Film Award, three Kerala State Film Awards, two Filmfare Awards South for acting and Best Actor at the Cincinnati Film Festival held in Cincinnati, US. Jayasurya has also appeared in a few Tamil films.

It follows the tale of the young entrepreneur, Joy Thakkolkaran (Jayasurya), and his business venture "Punyalan Agarbattis" in the city of Thrissur. The film is produced by Jayasurya and Ranjith Sankar under the banner of Dreams N Beyond and features music composed by Bijibal. It was a commercial success at the box office. A sequel of the film titled 'Punyalan Private Limited' was made in 2017, and it had many of the members of the original cast.

The film stars Jayasurya, Govind Padmasoorya, Sharaf U Dheen, Aju Varghese, Shruthi Ramachandran, Pearle Maaney, Dharmajan Bolgatty and Hareesh Peradi in the prominent roles. It is co-produced by Sankar and Jayasurya. The film was a commercial success and in 2018 a sequel, Pretham 2, was released.

The film stars Jayasurya as a trans woman named Marykutty, with Innocent, Jewel Mary, Jins Baskar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Aju Varghese and Joju George in other prominent roles. The music for the film was composed by Anand Madhusoodhanan. The film was released on 15 June 2018 on the eve of Eid.
Pretham 2 is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language Comedy horror drama film written, co-produced and directed by Ranjith Sankar. It is a sequel to the 2016 film Pretham. Jayasurya returns for the lead role, alongside a new supporting cast including Amith Chakalakkal,Durga Krishna, Sidhartha Siva, Saniya Iyappan and Dain Davis. Jayasurya co-produced the film with Sankar and also distributed it together. Pretham 2 was released on 21 December 2018.
