Vol. II is the fourth full-length studio album by the rock band Hurt, and was released on September 25, 2007.
This album shares many of the sorrowful and painful themes as Vol. I . However, many songs on this album have slower tempos and more acoustic instrumentation, while still maintaining a hard rock sound. Another change from Vol. I is the inclusion of different instruments, such as the banjo and dobro, and a lineup of female backup singers.
Before having Eric Greedy mix the album, the band had sent it to a mixing engineer who did not mix the album to the band's satisfaction. J. Loren said of the situation, "...he was a very notable person that we paid a large sum of money to, and he destroyed the record. It sounded so horrible, I actually had a nervous breakdown when I heard the record, and they threw me in a van before the cops came. So, I thought that my life was over, I just literally could not handle the devastation of it." [1]
Many of the songs on this album are rerecorded from previous works. The songs "Summers Lost," "Abuse of SID," and "Better" are originally from Hurt's self-titled album. "Alone With the Sea," "Loded," and "Et Al" are originally from The Consumation. [2]
"Loded," the second single from this album, was chosen by a poll taken on the band's forum. [3]
The band also released alternate mixes to the songs "Talking to God" and "On the Radio" through their MySpace. [4]

The album was praised by both fans and critics. It did exceptionally well in many professional reviews. It has sold nearly 50,000 copies since its release.
On May 12, 2009, Hurt received an award for the song "Ten Ton Brick" during SESAC’s 13th annual New York Music Awards. [9]

Pages is the second studio album from the country music band Bering Strait. It was released June 28, 2005 via Universal South Records. The album was produced by Carl Jackson, except for "From Ankara to Izmir", which was produced by Jerry Douglas.
Born to Fly is the third studio album by American country music artist Sara Evans. It was released in October 2000 via RCA Records Nashville. The album produced four singles with its title track, "I Could Not Ask for More", "Saints & Angels", and "I Keep Looking", all of which reached within the Top 20 on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The title track reached number one, "I Could Not Ask for More" and "I Keep Looking" both broke the Top 5 at numbers 2 and 5 respectively, and "Saints & Angels" peaked at number 16. Born to Fly has been Evans' highest-selling album to date, having been certified 2× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for U.S. sales of two million copies. The album was also one of the most successful of the year. Evans was nominated for five CMA Awards: Album of the Year; song, single, and music video ; and Female Vocalist of the Year. She won her first CMA award for music video of the year. The international version of the album includes a bonus track, "You", which was later released in North America as a bonus track on her 2005 album Real Fine Place. Born to Fly was a defining album for Evans. Her earlier albums had more of a neotraditional country sound, while all of her later albums had a more crossover-friendly country pop sound, similar to Martina McBride and Faith Hill.
Hurt was an American rock band formed in Virginia in 2000. The band has released four major label albums. The band first released the independent albums Hurt in 2000 and The Consumation in 2003. On February 3, 2009, the song "Wars" was released for download as a single. Each CD and vinyl comes with a unique code to download "ultra-high-quality MP3s sampled directly from the analog 1/2" master tapes," as well as bonus tracks, including "Flowers", "Another Time" and "That – Jazz Club Mix".
Songs from the Grass String Ranch is the fifth studio album by the American country rock band the Kentucky Headhunters. It was released by Audium Entertainment in 2000. III is the third studio album by Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. It was released June 23, 2009, and all pre-orders shipped on June 18, 2009. "Step Up is also in the video game EA Sports MMA.
