Volleyball, for the 2015 Island Games, took place indoors at the Queen's Hall which is located at Fort Regent, and outside at Weighbridge Place in Saint Helier. [1]

The 2011 Pacific Games took place in Nouméa, New Caledonia, from August 27 to September 10, 2011. Nouméa was the 14th host of the Pacific Games. Upon closure of the registration for entries, "some 4,300 athletes" had registered from the twenty-two competing nations, although it was expected that not all would attend.

2017 Commonwealth Youth Games

The 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games was the sixth edition of the Commonwealth Youth Games which started in 2000. The games were held from 19 to 23 July 2017 64 nations participated at the games. The Bahamas 2017 was the largest international sporting event ever to be hosted in The Bahamas, and the largest-ever edition of the Youth Games, with up to 1300 athletes. During the opening ceremony the Prime Minister of the Bahamas Hubert Minnis declared the games officially open. It was the first the time that the tournament was opened by a prime minister instead of a monarch or a president.

2013 Pacific Mini Games

The 2013 Pacific Mini Games was the ninth edition of these Mini Games. They were held in Mata Utu in Wallis and Futuna from 2 to 12 September 2013.

The beach volleyball tournaments, for the 2013 Bolivarian Games in Trujillo, starts on the 16 and ends on 29 November 2013. The beach volleyball competition takes place at Huanchaco Beach, in the Huanchaco Island in Trujillo.

The Cayman Islands competed at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from July 10 to 26, 2015. For the first time ever the country had a national house at a multi-sport event. The offices of FUSE Marketing Group, in Downtown Toronto served as the location of the house.

Beach volleyball competitions at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto were held from July 13 to 21 at a temporary facility in Exhibition Place called the Chevrolet Beach Volleyball Centre. A total of two beach volleyball tournaments were held: one each for the men and women.

2015 Island Games

The XVI Island Games was held in Jersey, Channel Islands, from 27 June to 3 July 2015. This was the second time that the island has hosted the games, the first being in 1997.

The XVII Island Games was held in Gotland, Sweden, from 24 June to 30 June 2017. This was the second time that the island has hosted the games, the first being in 1999.

Volleyball at the Pacific Games has been played since 1963.

The 2017 Pacific Mini Games were held in Port Vila, Vanuatu, in December 2017. It was the tenth edition of the Pacific Mini Games, and the second to be hosted in Vanuatu.

2019 Island Games

The FIVB Volleyball Men's World Cup is an international volleyball competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. Initially the tournament was played in the year following the Olympic Games, except for 1973 when no tournament was held, but since 1991 the World Cup has been awarded in the year preceding the Olympic Games. The current champion is Brazil, which won its third title at the 2019 tournament.

It has also been included in some of the Pacific Mini Games, starting with the seventh edition held in Palau in 2005.
