Overview

The Tank 300 was presented in July 2020 at the Chengdu Auto Show. It went on sale on the Chinese market on 17 December 2020. It is the first vehicle to be built on the platform called "Tank" by Great Wall. [1] [2]

The Tank 300 is powered by a two-liter turbo-charged petrol engine known from the other Wey models. It has an output of 167 kW (227 hp) and accelerates the off-road vehicle to 100 km/h (62 mph) in ten seconds. Wey specifies the maximum speed at 170 km/h (106 mph). [3] The vehicle has three differential locks. [1]

The Lexus GX is a full-size luxury SUV sold in North American and Eurasian markets by Lexus, a luxury division of Toyota. The GX is built on the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado platform, from which it derives its off-road capability. Lexus introduced the first generation, known as the GX 470 in 2002, and subsequently became the third SUV to enter the Lexus lineup. A five-speed automatic was always standard, as was a full-time four-wheel-drive system with low-range gearing. The 4.7-liter V8 engine in the GX 470 was the same as used on the larger LX 470. The firm next introduced the second generation model in 2009, badged GX 460 to reflect the switch to a 4.6-liter V8 engine. It is China's largest sport utility vehicle (SUV) and pick-up truck producer. It sells passenger cars and trucks under the Great Wall brand and SUVs under the Haval and WEY brands.
