WX Pyxidis is a cataclysmic variable star system in the constellation Pyxis. Its X-ray emissions were discovered in 1984, after which a visual correlate was searched for. It is classed as an intermediate polar system, composed of a white dwarf and red dwarf with a calculated spectral type of M2V in close orbit around each other and the spin of the degenerate star is such that it does not present the same face to the other star. [1] The degenerate star spins on its axis every 25 minutes. [6] The stars are estimated to take 5.3 hours to orbit each other and the system is 1530 parsecs distant. [1]
Gliese 674(GJ 674) is a small red dwarf star with an exoplanetary companion in the southern constellation of Ara. It is too faint to be visible to the naked eye, having an apparent visual magnitude of 9.38 and an absolute magnitude of 11.09. The system is located at a distance of 14.8 light-years from the Sun based on parallax measurements, but is drifting closer with a radial velocity of −2.9 km/s. It is a candidate member of the 200 million year old Castor stream of co-moving stars.
HD 69863 is a binary star system in the southern constellation of Carina. It is visible to the naked eye as a dim point of light with a combined apparent visual magnitude of 5.16. The system is located at a distance of about255 light years from the Sun based on parallax. The dual nature of this system was announced in 1832 by German astronomer Carl Rümker. As of 2015, the pair had an angular separation of 4.10″ along a position angle of 70°.
K Centauri is a possible binary star in the southern constellation of Centaurus. It has a white hue and is bright enough to be visible to the naked eye, having an apparent visual magnitude of +5.04.

20 Vulpeculae is single star located around 1,170 light years away in the northern constellation of Vulpecula. It is visible to the naked eye as a dim, blue-white hued star with an apparent visual magnitude of 5.91. The object is moving closer to the Earth with a heliocentric radial velocity of −22 km/s.
14 Lacertae is a binary star system in the northern constellation Lacerta, located around 1,600 light years away. It has the variable star designation V360 Lacertae; 14 Lacertae is the Flamsteed designation. BD+00 316, also known as WASP-71 since 2019, is an F-class main sequence star about 1200 light-years away. The star is younger than the Sun at approximately 3.6 billion years, yet is already close to leaving the main sequence. BD+00 316 is enriched in heavy elements, having 140% of the solar abundance of iron.
HD 1, also known as HIP 422, is the first star catalogued in the Henry Draper Catalogue. It is located in the northern circumpolar constellation Cephus and has an apparent magnitude of 7.42, making it readily visible in binoculars, but not to the naked eye. The object is located relatively far away at a distance of 1,220 light years but is approaching the Solar System with a spectroscopic radial velocity of −27.3 km/s.
HD 199223 is a double star in the equatorial constellation Delphinus. However, the system was originally in Equuleus prior to the creation of official IAU constellation borders. The components have a separation of 2″ at a position angle of 282° as of 2016. They have apparent magnitudes of 6.34 and 7.49 and distances of 354 and 359 light years respectively. BG Canis Minoris is a binary star system in the equatorial constellation of Canis Minor, abbreviated BG CMi. With an apparent visual magnitude that fluctuates around 14.5, it is much too faint to be visible to the naked eye. Parallax measurements provide a distance estimate of approximately 2,910 light years from the Sun.
