Wafadar Momand (born 5 October 1999) is an Afghan cricketer. [1] He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Afghanistan's first ever Test match,against India,in June 2018.
He made his List A debut for Boost Region in the 2017 Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament on 11 August 2017. [2] He made his Twenty20 debut for Band-e-Amir Dragons in the 2017 Shpageeza Cricket League on 15 September 2017. [3]
In December 2017,he was named in Afghanistan's squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. [4]
In May 2018,he was named in Afghanistan's squad for their inaugural Test match,played against India. [5] [6] He made his Test debut against India,on 14 June 2018. [7] During the match,he along with Rashid Khan,set an unflattering new record of being the first pair of teenagers to concede more than 100 runs each in their nation's inaugural Test match. [8]
In July 2018,he was named in Afghanistan's One Day International (ODI) squad for their series against Ireland,but he did not play. [9] In September 2018,he was named in Afghanistan's ODI squad for the 2018 Asia Cup. [10] However,he was ruled out of the tournament after suffering an injury in a training session. [11]
In December 2018,he was named in Afghanistan's under-23 team for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. [12] In February 2019,he was named in Afghanistan's Test squad for their one-off match against Ireland in India. [13] [14] In November 2019,he was named in Afghanistan's squad for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Bangladesh. [15]
In July 2023,he was named in Afghanistan's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against Bangladesh. [16] He made his T20I debut in the second match of the series,on 16 July 2023. [17]
Mohammad Shahzad Mohammadi is an Afghan cricketer who has represented his country in all three international formats. He is a right-handed opening batsman and a wicketkeeper. He made his international debut for Afghanistan in August 2009 against the Netherlands.

Hashmatullah Shahidi is an Afghan cricketer and currently the captain of Afghanistan national cricket team in One Day International (ODI) and Test cricket. He made his ODI debut for Afghanistan against Kenya in October 2013. Shahidi was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Afghanistan's first ever Test match,against India,in June 2018. He became the first Afghan player to score a test double hundred when he scored 200 not out against Zimbabwe on 11 March 2021.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman Zadran is an Afghan cricketer,who plays for the Afghanistan national cricket team. Two months after his international debut,at the age of 16 years and 325 days,he became the youngest player to take a five-wicket haul in a One Day International. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Afghanistan's first Test match,against India,in June 2018. Afghanistan lost the one-sided Test within two days. Mujeeb scored 15 and 3 in the two innings,respectively,and got one wicket after conceding 75 runs. It was also Mujeeb's first-class cricket debut. His uncle,Noor Ali Zadran,is also an Afghan international cricketer.
