The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship is a touring car racing series held each year in the United Kingdom, currently organised and administered by TOCA. It was established in 1958 as the British Saloon Car Championship and was renamed as the British Touring Car Championship for the 1987 season. The championship, currently running Next Generation Touring Car regulations, has been run to various national and international regulations over the years including FIA Group 2, FIA Group 5, FIA Group 1, FIA Group A, FIA Super Touring and FIA Super 2000. A lower-key Group N class for production cars ran from 2000 until 2003.
Michael Anthony Jordan is a British racing driver who competed in various classes of saloon and sportscar racing. He has won three British titles and spent three years competing in the BTCC against many drivers less than half his age, including his son and teammate Andrew. In 2006 he became the oldest driver ever to win a BTCC race. He lives in Lichfield with his wife Judith and their three children.
James Peter Kaye is a British auto racing driver. He has been a stalwart competitor of Hondas in various championships since 1995, and has had 2 lengthy spells in the BTCC. He won the BTCC independents' championship in 1992 and 1994.
Kieth O'dor was a British racing driver, born in Salisbury, who competed primarily in touring cars. He scored Nissan's first win during the super touring era in both the British Touring Car Championship and the Super Tourenwagen Cup. He was killed during a race at the AVUS circuit in Berlin.
Andrew Rouse is a British racing driver, most notably in the British Saloon Car Championship. He won the BSCC in 1975, 1983, 1984 and 1985.
Tom Ferrier is a British racing driver. He had a long running karting career, a milestone was winning the 1998 British Championship. He also won the Star Cup of the Formula Renault Championship the following year, before switching to more entertaining and less competitive saloon cars.

Vincent Michael Woodman was a British racing driver. He started racing in 1965 and competed mainly in touring cars, mostly with cars from the Ford marque. In 1973 he finished third overall in the British Saloon Car Championship, driving a 1300cc Ford Escort. He finished fifth in the BSCC in 1982, winning four races outright, the last wins for a Ford Capri.
Graham Hathaway is a British retired auto racing driver. He is now running his own team Graham Hathaway Racing (GHR). His racing career has seen him compete in rallycross and saloon cars. In 1988, 1989 and 1990 he entered selected rounds of the British Touring Car Championship driving a Ford Sierra RS500.

Stuart Anthony Crudgington is a British auto racing driver. He regularly competed in the British Touring Car Championship during the nineteen-eighties with cars from the Toyota marque. His most successful season came in 1988, finishing second in Class D and sixth overall. His final season in the BTCC was in 1989, finishing eighth overall and again runner-up in class D to Phil Dowsett. Crudgington still competes, mainly in historic events.
Jon Dooley was a British auto racing driver. He finished third overall in the British Touring Car Championship on three occasions, in 1981, 1984 and 1987 competing in cars from the Alfa Romeo marque. He competed in the BSCC/BTCC from 1976 to 1989, all but one race in an Alfa Romeo.
