Eagle When She Flies is the thirty-first solo studio album by American singer-songwriter Dolly Parton. It was released on March 7, 1991, by Columbia Records. The album was produced by Steve Buckingham and Gary Smith, with Parton serving as executive producer. It continues Parton's return to mainstream country sounds following 1989's White Limozeen. The album features collaborations with Lorrie Morgan and Ricky Van Shelton, with additional supporting vocals provided by Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris. The album was a commercial success, becoming Parton's first solo album to peak at number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart since 1980s 9 to 5 and Odd Jobs. It was certified Platinum in by the RIAA in 1992. The album spawned four singles, the most successful being "Rockin' Years" with Ricky Van Shelton, which topped the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. In support of the album, Parton embarked on the Eagle When She Flies Tour, her only concert tour of the 1990s.
Me and You is the third studio album by American country music singer Kenny Chesney. It was released in 1996 via BNA Records. Although its lead-off single "Back in My Arms Again" failed to make Top 40, the album's title track and "When I Close My Eyes" both reached number two on the US Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts in 1996. The title track was reprised from Chesney's previous album, All I Need to Know. "Back Where I Come From" is a cover of Mac McAnally's 1990 single from his album Simple Life, while "When I Close My Eyes" had been recorded by Restless Heart lead singer Larry Stewart on his 1993 debut album Down the Road, and by Keith Palmer before that. "It's Never Easy to Say Goodbye" had been recorded by singer Wynonna Judd on her eponymous debut album. "Back in My Arms Again" was previously recorded by its co-writer, Lee Roy Parnell, on his 1992 album Love Without Mercy.
Blue Frontier is the debut studio album by American country music trio the Remingtons, a vocal group composed of former Bread vocalist Jimmy Griffin, as well as former Cymarron members Richard Mainegra and Rick Yancey. Released in January 1992 on BNA Entertainment, the album produced three singles on the Billboard country singles charts between late 1991 and mid-1992. In order of release, these were "A Long Time Ago" at No. 10, "I Could Love You " at No. 33, and "Two-Timin' Me" at No. 18.
Lonely Grill is the third studio album by American country music group Lonestar, released in the United States on June 1, 1999, by BNA Records. It reached number 28 on the Billboard 200 chart, and number three on the Top Country Albums chart. With sales of three million copies in the United States, it has been certified 3× Platinum by the RIAA. This was Lonestar's first studio album to have a crossover-friendly country-pop sound, which was a departure from their earlier neotraditional country sound. It is also their first studio album to be recorded as a four-piece as bassist and second lead vocalist John Rich left the band the previous year in 1998. Instead of replacing him with a new member, the band hired several session bassists to play the album's bass parts.
The Remingtons were an American country music group founded in 1991. They consisted of guitarists and vocalists Jimmy Griffin, Richard Mainegra, and Rick Yancey. Griffin was previously a member of the soft rock group Bread, while Mainegra and Yancey had previously been part of another soft rock group called Cymarron. Yancey left in 1992 and was replaced by Denny Henson. The band recorded two albums for BNA Records and charted five country singles, including the number 10 "A Long Time Ago." The Remingtons broke up in 1993 and all four members continued in other projects.
Reflections: Greatest Hits is the first compilation album by American country music artist Lorrie Morgan. It was released on Morgan's birthday in 1995 as a special, limited production; deluxe edition. It featured three previously unreleased tracks, an enclosed biography of Lorrie Morgan, ornate packaging and the allure of collectability.
Mountains is the seventh studio album by American country music group Lonestar. It was the band's last album for BNA Records, it produced two singles on the Hot Country Songs charts: "Mountains" at No. 10 and "Nothing to Prove" at No. 51. After the single released, the band was dropped from BNA. This was also the last studio to feature Richie McDonald before leaving for a solo career, until he rejoined in 2011.
Maybe Not Tonight is the sixth studio album by American country music artist Sammy Kershaw. It was released in 1999 on Mercury Records. The first album of his career not to achieve an RIAA certification, it also failed to produce any Top Ten country hits. The lead-off single, which was the title track duet with Lorrie Morgan reached #17 on the country charts. This song was concurrently promoted by Mercury and BNA Records, Morgan's label. Following it were "When You Love Someone" at #37 and "Me and Maxine" at #35. "Louisiana Hot Sauce", the fourth and final single, failed to chart. Also included is a cover of Bobby Vee's "More Than I Can Say", which water later a #2 pop hit for Leo Sayer in 1980. In addition, "How Much Does the World Weigh" was later recorded by Tracy Byrd on his 2001 album Ten Rounds. Maybe Not Tonight was also Kershaw's last studio album for Mercury. After it was released, Mercury issued an album of cover songs and a second greatest hits compilation before he exited the label.
If I Don't Stay the Night is the second studio album by American country music artist Mindy McCready. It was released on November 4, 1997 by BNA Records. The album peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and featured three singles, "What If I Do", "The Other Side of This Kiss", and "You'll Never Know". The album sold 825,000 copies and was certified gold by the RIAA, despite not producing a Top Ten country hit. The track "Oh Romeo" crossed over the United Kingdom, where it reached #41 on the UK Singles Chart.
Aim for the Heart is the second and final album from the American country music trio The Remingtons. Released in April 1993 on BNA Entertainment, the album produced two singles on the Billboard country singles charts: "Nobody Loves You When You're Free" at No. 52 and "Wall Around Her Heart" at No. 69. "Everything I Own" is a cover of a song originally recorded by Bread on their 1972 album Baby, I'm a Want You, and "Ride 'Em Cowboy" was a single for Paul Davis in 1974.
