Animation is a method in which figures are manipulated to appear as moving images. In traditional animation, images are drawn or painted by hand on transparent celluloid sheets to be photographed and exhibited on film. Today, most animations are made with computer-generated imagery (CGI). Computer animation can be very detailed 3D animation, while 2D computer animation can be used for stylistic reasons, low bandwidth, or faster real-time renderings. Other common animation methods apply a stop motion technique to two- and three-dimensional objects like paper cutouts, puppets, or clay figures.
Batman: The Animated Series is an American superhero animated television series based on the DC Comics superhero Batman. Developed by Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Mitch Brian, and produced by Warner Bros. Animation, it originally aired on Fox Kids from September 5, 1992, to September 15, 1995, with a total of 85 episodes. In 1994, the series was given the on-screen title The Adventures of Batman & Robin, which was also used for reruns of earlier episodes. It marked the first DC Comics animated series to be produced by Warner Bros. Animation, as DC's prior series like The Batman/Superman Hour, Super Friends and Swamp Thing were produced by Filmation, Hanna-Barbera and DiC Entertainment, respectively.

Pinocchio was carved by a woodcarver named Geppetto in a Tuscan village. He was created as a wooden puppet but he dreams of becoming a real boy. Aida of the Trees is a 2001 Italian animation film written and directed by Guido Manuli and with soundtrack by Ennio Morricone. It is the third movie produced by the studio Lanterna Magica after How the Toys Saved Christmas and Lucky and Zorba, and it is loosely inspired by Giuseppe Verdi's opera Aida.
Rainbow Fish is an animated children's television series, produced in 1999. It was adapted from the book of the same name; however, the television series does not follow the plot of the book; rather it takes the character and the setting and creates a new story with them. Some characters were added and others embellished for the purposes of the show. In the series, the place where the fish live is called Neptune Bay. The fish mostly attend "The School of Fish". There is a shipwreck called "Shipwreck Park" in the series that resembles the wreck of the RMS Titanic. It was produced by Decode Entertainment, EM.TV and Sony Wonder. Fifty-two fifteen-minute episodes were produced. The programme aired on Tiny Pop in the United Kingdom and HBO Family in the United States. A range of VHS and DVD releases of Rainbow Fish remain available in the United Kingdom.
