The We Were Here / Six String Circus Tour was the sixth headlining concert tour by American country music artist Jason Aldean, in support of his sixth studio album Old Boots, New Dirt . It began on January 14, 2016 in Evansville, Indiana and ended on October 1, 2016 in Bristow, Virginia. In May 2016, the tour had its name changed to the Six String Circus Tour.
The tour was first announced on October 16, 2015 though Aldean's website. Aldean will tour Australia for the first time in his career. [1] Summer 2016 dates were announced in April 2016, and the show at Fenway Park will be co-headlined with Kid Rock. [2] Kid Rock stole the show after going on tirade on San Francisco back up QB Colin Kaepernick during Born Free.The video has been viewed over 2 million times on YouTube and got national attention.

Mayday Parade is an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. Formed in 2005, the band was a result of a merger between two local Tallahassee bands, Kid Named Chicago and Defining Moment. Their debut EP Tales Told by Dead Friends, was released in 2006, and sold over 50,000 copies without any label support. In July 2007, Mayday Parade released their debut album A Lesson in Romantics. Having been signed to Fearless Records since 2006, the band also signed onto a major label with Atlantic Records in 2009. Their second studio album, Anywhere but Here was released in October 2009 and their third album, entitled Mayday Parade, was released in October 2011. Jason Farris Brown known professionally as Colt Ford, is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, and former professional golfer best known for his music fusing the country and rap genres. He has released seven albums via Average Joes Entertainment, which he co-founded. Ford has charted six times on the Hot Country Songs charts and co-wrote "Dirt Road Anthem", a song on his 2008 album Ride Through the Country, which Jason Aldean later covered on his My Kinda Party album. Ford was the first, and so far only, artist to have a Number One album on Billboard Top Country Albums and Top Rap Albums.
Brantley Keith Gilbert is an American country rock singer, songwriter and record producer from Jefferson, Georgia. He was originally signed to Colt Ford's label, Average Joes Entertainment, where he released Modern Day Prodigal Son and Halfway to Heaven. He is now signed to the Valory division of Big Machine Records where he has released five studio albums—a deluxe edition of Halfway to Heaven, Just as I Am, The Devil Don't Sleep, Fire & Brimstone, So Help Me God, and 14 country chart entries, four of which have gone to number one. He also co-wrote and originally recorded Jason Aldean's singles "My Kinda Party" and "Dirt Road Anthem."
Lauren Alaina Kristine Suddeth is an American singer and songwriter from Rossville, Georgia. She was the runner-up on the tenth season of American Idol. Her debut studio album, Wildflower, was released on October 11, 2011. Her second album, Road Less Traveled, was released January 27, 2017. Alaina later achieved her first number one on the Country Airplay chart with the album's title track. On November 30, the song received a nomination at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Country Solo Performance. It is the best-selling song in digital history by a male country solo artist in the United States with over four million sold.

It began on May 1, 2014 in Roanoke, Virginia. Venues included four Major League Baseball stadiums: Citizens Bank Park, PNC Park, Nationals Park, and Great American Ball Park. Supporting acts included Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr, and Miranda Lambert at select venues. In summer 2015, Aldean's tour merged with Kenny Chesney's The Big Revival Tour for ten stadium shows. The "Burn It Down Tour" has played to over one million people.

Its lead single, "Burnin' It Down", reached the top of the US Hot Country Songs chart during its second week of availability. The album was produced by Aldean's longtime producer Michael Knox. The album's second single, "Just Gettin' Started", was released on November 10, 2014. "Tonight Looks Good on You" was released as the album's third single. "Gonna Know We Were Here" was released as the album's fourth single.

Ten of the shows were merged with Jason Aldean's Burn It Down Tour. Eric Church co-headlined five of them with Chesney while Miranda Lambert co-headlined the show at Soldier Field in Chicago. Morgan Cole Wallen is an American country music singer and songwriter. He competed in the sixth season of The Voice, originally as a member of Usher's team, but later as a member of Adam Levine's team. After being eliminated in the playoffs of that season, he signed to Panacea Records, releasing his debut EP, Stand Alone, in 2015.
