The Burn It Down Tour was a headlining concert tour by American country music singer Jason Aldean held in the United States between May 2014 and August 2015. [1] It began on May 1, 2014 in Roanoke, Virginia. Venues included four Major League Baseball stadiums: Citizens Bank Park, PNC Park, Nationals Park, and Great American Ball Park. [2] Supporting acts included Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr, [3] and Miranda Lambert at select venues. [4] In summer 2015, Aldean's tour merged with Kenny Chesney's The Big Revival Tour for ten stadium shows. [5] The "Burn It Down Tour" has played to over one million people.

Concert synopsis

Aldean plays a good mix of songs from all six of his albums, with most being from his current album, Old Boots, New Dirt', and covers as well during the show. Periodically Aldean would go out towards the crowd and perform from there. [6]

Critical reception

Jerry Wofford of Tulsa World says that Aldean "started off strong, with lots of fire and pyrotechnics". The show went on to say that the show had a rock concert vibe and only Aldean's voice and the slide guitar were the only hits of a traditional country show. He did a good job with "mixing his sound and styles throughout his set, and a good job of mixing in songs from each of his six albums". Wofford went on to say that "Aldean knows how to put on a huge show." [6]

The Ceremonials Tour was the second concert tour by the English indie rock band Florence and the Machine. The tour included performances at music festivals because it is lead singer Florence Welch's favourite way to perform live. Welch had originally planned to spend over a year touring for Ceremonials before announcing that the December 2012 dates would be the final performances of the tour. On 25 February 2013, it was announced that Florence and the Machine would be playing at the Coke Live Music Festival in Poland on 10 August 2013, and, on 26 March 2013, it was announced that the band would be playing at Chime for Change's "The Sound of Change Live" concert at Twickenham Stadium in London alongside Beyoncé, Ellie Goulding and Haim, amongst others.

Out There was a concert tour by English singer-songwriter Paul McCartney lasting from 4 May 2013 to 22 October 2015. Some notable nights of the tour included concerts at Warsaw's National Stadium, Verona's Roman Amphitheatre, and Vienna's Happel Stadium, the latter of which he would play for the first time since 2003's Back in the World tour. The Cowboy Rides Away Tour was a concert tour by American country music artist George Strait. The tour was divided into two legs: 21 concerts in 2013 and 27 concerts in 2014, for a total of 48 concerts, all in the United States. The tour started on January 18, 2013 in Lubbock, Texas, and ended in Arlington, Texas, on June 7, 2014. Strait was supported on the tour by his longtime eleven-member touring group, the Ace in the Hole Band. Appearing in arenas with six stadium dates included, Strait performed many of his most popular recordings and performance songs, including uptempo hits such as "Here for a Good Time", "Ocean Front Property", "How 'Bout Them Cowgirls", and "Troubadour", and softer ballads such as "I Saw God Today", "The Chair", and "I Can Still Make Cheyenne". His encores included "All My Ex's Live in Texas" and "Folsom Prison Blues", and he closed each show with one of his earliest hit songs, "The Cowboy Rides Away". The On The Road Again Tour was the fourth headlining concert tour and second all-stadium tour by English-Irish boy band One Direction, in support of their fourth studio album, Four (2014). The tour began on 7 February 2015 in Sydney, Australia and ended on 31 October 2015 in Sheffield, England. The tour grossed $208 million from 77 shows, selling over 2.3 million tickets. It became the second highest-grossing concert tour of 2015, only behind Taylor Swift's The 1989 World Tour.

The Demi World Tour was the fourth headlining concert tour and second worldwide tour by American singer Demi Lovato. It was her second tour in support of her fourth studio album Demi (2013), following The Neon Lights Tour. During most of the European tour dates in 2014, Lovato was the opening act for Enrique Iglesias' Sex and Love Tour. The tour was produced and promoted by Live Nation, and sponsored by the Tampax and Always Radiant Collection. The Cowboy Rides Away: Live from AT&T Stadium is a live album released by George Strait in 2014. The title refers to the fact that this concert was the final performance of his final tour "The Cowboy Rides Away Tour" on June 7, 2014 in Arlington, Texas. 104,793 people were in attendance, the largest ever single-show attendance at a U.S. stadium. An all-star lineup joined Strait on stage. The DVD of the concert was released on November 11. The show was recorded on Remote Recording's Silver Truck by Chuck Ainlay and David Hewitt.

The Big Revival Tour presented by Corona Light was the fourteenth headlining concert tour by American country music artist Kenny Chesney, in support of his sixteenth studio album The Big Revival (2014). Ten of the shows were merged with Jason Aldean's Burn It Down Tour. Eric Church co-headlined five of them with Chesney while Miranda Lambert co-headlined the show at Soldier Field in Chicago. This was the biggest country music concert tour of 2015 and the second-ranked North American one of the year, after grossing over $116.4 million.

x Tour (Ed Sheeran) 2014–15 concert tour by Ed Sheeran

The x Tour was the second world concert tour by English singer-songwriter and musician, Ed Sheeran, in support of his second studio album, × (2014). The tour began in Osaka, Japan on 6 August 2014, and continued through Europe, the Americas, Oceania and Asia until 12 December 2015, where the tour ended in New Zealand. Sheeran planned 180 shows. In June 2015, the singer announced a documentary would be filmed during the tour's three sold-out dates, 10–12 July 2015, at 80,000-person capacity Wembley Stadium.

It began on January 14, 2016 in Evansville, Indiana and ended on October 1, 2016 in Bristow, Virginia. In May 2016, the tour had its name changed to the Six String Circus Tour.
