Wenceslas Lauret (born 28 March 1989) is a rugby union footballer, who currently plays for Racing 92 in the Top 14 French league. His usual position is flanker, but he can also play Lock.
Lauret first arose on the professional scene during the 2007–08 Top 14 season for Biarritz Olympique. Although during this season, he played at academy level playing for the under 20s side. During that year, he was selected for the France U20s side to play in the inaugural IRB Junior World Championship in Wales. He made two appearances for the U20s side, playing against Japan U20s and Italy U20s - winning both matches 53–17 and 32–14 respectively. [1] After being promoted to the senior Biarritz side in 2008, he went on to play seven times during the 2008–09 season. His first professional appearance was on 26 August 2008 in a 29–22 victory against Bourgoin. In June 2009, he was selected again to represent France U20s in the 2009 IRB Junior World Championship. He played in every pool game to come second in that pool - the only loss was to South Africa U20s which they lost 43–27. He played in the 5th Place Play-offs semi-final against Samoa U20s. But was however not selected for the play-off match against Wales U20s, in what was a 68–13 win for France to come 5th in that tournament.
During the 2009–10 Top 14 season, he suffered an injury in late October, thus ruling him out of selection for the French national team for the 2009 end-of-year rugby union internationals. He returned in March 2010 to play a further 4 matches in that Top 14 Season. In addition to this, he played 5 matches during the 2009–10 Heineken Cup, where he started in both the quarter-finals and semi-finals against the Ospreys and Munster. Most notably, he started at Openside in the French derby 2010 Heineken Cup Final at the Stade de France. But Biarritz were unable to turn over French Giants Toulouse, losing 21–19.
On 19 May 2010, he was selected by Marc Lièvremont for the France National side to tour South Africa and Argentina. He made his debut on the 12 June at Newlands Stadium, starting in the 42–17 defeat. He didn't represent France again until June 2012, during the 2012 French tour to Argentina where he played in both matches. At the end of the 2012–13 Top 14 season, Lauret signed to play for Racing Métro, who he made his debut for on 23 August 2013 against Toulon - losing 41–14. During the 2013-14 Season, he returned to French national duties, and was part of the 2014 Six Nations Championship squad that narrowly lost the title to Ireland and England.
The Top 14 is a professional rugby union club competition that is played in France. Created in 1892, the Top 14 is at the top of the national league system operated by the French National Rugby League, also known by its French initialism of LNR. There is promotion and relegation between the Top 14 and the next level down, the Rugby Pro D2. The fourteen best rugby teams in France participate in the competition, hence the name Top 14. Biarritz Olympique Pays Basque, usually known simply as Biarritz, is a French professional rugby union team based in the Basque city of Biarritz, Nouvelle-Aquitaine which competes in the Pro D2, the second division of French rugby. Biarritz plays its home matches at the Parc des Sports Aguiléra, which is a multi-use stadium in Biarritz and which has a capacity of around 13,500 people, though for games that need a larger capacity, Biarritz may play at the Estadio Anoeta in San Sebastián. Biarritz play in red and white colours. Biarritz won a number of major honors, including the French championship on five occasions.
Felipe Contepomi is an Argentine rugby coach who is currently the backs coach at Leinster Rugby. He was a rugby union footballer who played fly-half or centre; his last club was Club Newman, in the first division of the URBA championship. He was also a key player for Argentina, having played 15 years for the national team. His twin brother Manuel was also a Puma. In June 2015 he was appointed coach of Argentina XV. Contepomi was inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame in November 2017.
Rugby Club Toulonnais, also known as RCT but usually Toulon; Occitan: Rugbi Club Tolonenc) is a French professional rugby union club based in Toulon in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. A current participant in the first-tier Top 14 competition, they have won the national competition on four occasions.
Martín Leandro Castrogiovanni is a retired Italian rugby union player. He was born in Paraná, Argentina, but qualified for Italy through his heritage. Castrogiovanni moved to Italy as a teenager and represented the Italian national team 119 times over 14 years. In Italy he played for Calvisano between 2001 and 2006, before moving to England to play for Leicester Tigers where he played 145 games over seven seasons, winning four Premiership Rugby titles. In 2013 he moved to Toulon where he won a Heineken Cup, before finishing his career with Racing 92 in Paris.
Delon Anthony Armitage is a rugby union coach and former player who played at wing or fullback for Lyon OU and is capped for England. He also occasionally played centre. Armitage started out at London Irish and Toulon. He sometimes did place kicking, mainly from a distance or if the regular kicker was unable to take it. He left Toulon at the end of the 2015/2016 season to join French Top 14 side Lyon. He retired at the end of the 2018/2019 season.

Dusautoir was considered a strong ball carrier and possessed incredibly powerful and effective tackling. He broke the record for most tackles in a match, making 38 tackles against the All Blacks in the 2007 World Cup. He was considered one of, if not the best tackler in the world.

Racing 92 is a French rugby union club based in suburban Paris that was formed in 2001 with the collaboration of the Racing Club de France and US Métro. They were called Racing Métro 92 between 2001 and 2015, when they changed the name to Racing 92. "92" is the number of Hauts-de-Seine, a département of Île-de-France, bordering Paris to the west, where they play, and whose council gives financial backing to the club. They currently play in the Top 14, having been promoted as 2008–09 champions of Rugby Pro D2. After starting the 2017–18 season at the Stade Yves-du-Manoir stadium at Colombes, where the France national team played for several decades, Racing played their first match at the new U Arena, since renamed Paris La Défense Arena, in Nanterre on 22 December 2017.
