Wesley Fofana (born 20 January 1988) is a former French rugby union player, of Malian descent, who played his entire 14 year career for ASM Clermont Auvergne in the Top 14 and the France national rugby union team. He played as a wing or centre, and won the Top 14 with Clermont in 2010 and 2017. In France he is known as Le Guépard (The Cheetah) for his pace.
Fofana joined ASM Clermont Auvergne's youth team in 2008. He made his senior debut in 2009 and then helped the club win the French championship the following year. [ citation needed ]
Fofana made his senior international debut for France in a Six Nations game against Italy in February 2012, scoring a try. [2] He continued this excellent form, scoring in the next match versus Scotland and adding further scores against Ireland and then a 75th minute try against England scoring four tries in his first four ever international matches. In the 2013 six nations he scored a memorable 70 metres solo try against England in Twickenham from inside the French half evading several tackles on the way, however England won the game 23–13.
Marius Charl Joubert is a South African rugby union player who played as a centre for Stormers in Super Rugby. He has previously played for the Boland Cavaliers, Free State Cheetahs, ASM Clermont Auvergne and Western Province in the Currie Cup and the Stormers and the Cheetahs in Super Rugby. Joubert was educated at Paarl Gimnasium, alongside current Springboks and former Western Province and Stormers teammates De Wet Barry and Jean de Villiers. A few years later, the same school produced another current Springbok star in Schalk Burger.
Association Sportive Montferrandaise Clermont Auvergne is a French professional rugby union club from Clermont-Ferrand in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes that currently competes in Top 14, the top level of the French league system. Clermont are two times French champions in 2009-10 and 2016-17. The rugby section is a part of a multi-sport club called AS Montferrand, which was founded in 1911 and adopted that name in 1919. Although the rugby section changed its name to the current ASM Clermont Auvergne in 2004, it is still frequently referred to as Montferrand both within and outside France.
Alexander David King is a rugby union footballer who played at fly-half for ASM Clermont Auvergne and formerly Wasps. In July 2020 it was announced King would be the attack coach at Gloucester Rugby. King attended Brighton College and Bristol University but started his rugby career with Hove. In January 2023, King was announced as the Attack Coach of the Welsh Rugby Union ahead of their Six Nations campaign.

Gérald Merceron is a French former rugby union player He played at fly-half. Unusually he favoured a cone when kicking at goal; the only other player in the modern game to do the same is Chris Ellis.
Clément Poitrenaud is a former French rugby union footballer. His usual position is at fullback but he also plays at centre. He most recently played for South African side the Sharks in Super Rugby, having represented Toulouse in the French Top 14 club competition between 2000 and 2016, and France between 2001 and 2012, including at the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia and the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France. He has since transitioned into a role of partner, father and coach.
Julien Bonnaire is a former French rugby union footballer, who played for CS Bourgoin-Jallieu in the Top 14 competition in France until the 2006–2007 season. He moved to ASM Clermont Auvergne during the summer of 2007. Bonnaire retired from International rugby after the 2012 Six Nations. However, he continued to play for club side, ASM Clermont Auvergne. Capping a decade of success between 2007 and 2017, before retiring and moving into coaching. He was most recently an assistant for France specialising in lineouts.
Gonzalo Canale is an Italian Argentine rugby union footballer. His usual position is in the centre or at full back. He plays for French club ASM Clermont Auvergne. Canale has also been capped for the Italy national team, and was a part of their squad at the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia and the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.

Jacques Brunel is a French rugby union coach and former player. He was most recently the French national team head coach, having previously been assistant coach for his nation and had led the Italian national team between 2011 and 2016. Brunel, who has spent most of his career in France, formally coached his former team Auch, as well as Bordeaux Bègles, Colomiers, Pau and Perpignan.
Matthew Scott is a Scottish rugby union player with 40 caps for Scotland who plays for Leicester Tigers in England's Premiership Rugby. His regular playing position is Centre.
Viliami Vunipola is a professional rugby union player who plays as a number eight for Premiership Rugby club Saracens. Born in Australia, he represents England at international level after qualifying on residency grounds.
Vernon Anthony Cotter is a New Zealand rugby union coach and former player, who was most recently the head coach of the Fiji national team. He was part of the coaching staff for the successful Crusaders side between 2005 and 2006, before coaching in France with Clermont Auvergne between 2006 and 2014. He coached the Scotland national team from 2014, including at the 2015 Rugby World Cup, and left his role in May 2017 as his contract was not extended by the Scottish Rugby Union. In January 2020 Cotter was appointed coach of Fiji, but resigned in January 2023.

Donovan Taofifénua is a French rugby union player. He plays as a wing for Racing 92 in the Top 14. He is a cousin of France internationals Romain Taofifénua and Sébastien Taofifénua and is of Wallisian heritage.
