The Lexicon of Love is the debut studio album by English pop band ABC. It was released in June 1982 by Neutron Records in the United Kingdom, by Mercury Records in the United States and Japan, and by Vertigo Records in Canada and Europe. The album entered the UK Albums Chart at number one and has been certified platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) and gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It features four UK top 20 singles; "Tears Are Not Enough", "Poison Arrow", "The Look of Love" and "All of My Heart".
Deacon Blue are a Scottish pop rock band formed in Glasgow during 1985. The line-up of the band consists of vocalists Ricky Ross and Lorraine McIntosh, keyboard player James Prime and drummer Dougie Vipond. The band released their debut album, Raintown, on 1 May 1987 in the United Kingdom and in the United States in February 1988. Their second album, When the World Knows Your Name (1989), topped the UK Albums Chart for two weeks, and included "Real Gone Kid" which became their first top ten single in the UK Singles Chart and reached number one in Spain.
Boøwy was a Japanese rock band formed in Takasaki, Gunma in 1981. The classic lineup of vocalist Kyosuke Himuro, guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei, bassist Tsunematsu Matsui, and drummer Makoto Takahashi reached legendary status in Japan during the 1980s.
Live at the Royal Albert Hall is the second live album by English acoustic roots duo Show of Hands. Following the success of their stripped-down fifth studio album Lie of the Land, the duo experienced attention from major publications, who praised the album, and the duo's fan base had built. Nonetheless, the duo were unable to commerce any performances in London. Their duo and their manager and producer Gerard O'Farrell took the gamble of hosting the city's historic Royal Albert Hall for a concert on 24 March 1996. The concert would be an attempt to gather all of the duo's fans and to raise the duo's profile. The duo were ridiculed for booking the hall, with many saying the performance would not sell out. Nonetheless, not only did the performance sell out, but it did so with advance orders, and it raised the duo's profile.
"Mizérable" is the debut mini album of Japanese singer-songwriter Gackt, released on May 12, 1999 by Nippon Crown. It marked his solo debut, four months after he left Malice Mizer. The album still remains as one of Gackt's best selling albums.
Marti Pellow is a Scottish singer. He was the lead singer of the Scottish pop group Wet Wet Wet, from their formation in 1982 until their split in 1997, and again from their reformation in 2004 to his departure in 2017. He has also recorded albums as a solo artist, and performed as an actor in musical theatre productions in both the West End and on Broadway.
Miles of Aisles is the first live album by Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell, released in 1974 on Asylum Records. It is a double album documenting her concerts in support of the Court and Spark album with her backing band for the tour, the L.A. Express. Hendrix in the West is a live album by Jimi Hendrix, released posthumously in January 1972 by Polydor Records (UK), and in February by Reprise Records (US). Louis Clark was an English music arranger and keyboard player. He trained at Leeds College of Music. He is best known for his work with Electric Light Orchestra and Hooked on Classics. Clark started out as a bass guitarist for Birmingham band The Buccaneers, who later became Monopoly and eventually The Raymond Froggatt Band.
Remember That Night is a live concert recording of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour's solo concerts at the Royal Albert Hall on 29, 30 & 31 May 2006 as part of his On an Island Tour. The title is taken from a line in the song "On an Island". It has been released on both DVD and Blu-ray formats. The DVD version came out 17 September 2007 in the UK, Europe and Australia, and on 18 September 2007 in the US and Canada. The Blu-ray version was released on 20 November 2007.
D'erlanger is a Japanese rock band from Kyoto Prefecture, formed in 1983 by guitarist Cipher and bassist Seela. While they originally played speed and power metal, after recruiting drummer Tetsu and vocalist Kyo they switched to an alternative rock sound for their debut album La Vie En Rose in 1989. Although it was on an indie label, it sold out and was reissued three times that year, earning them a major label record deal with BMG Japan the following year. They released Basilisk in March 1990 and it reached the top five on the charts. However, in December the group suddenly announced their disbandment.
"Messages" is a song by English synth-pop band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) from their self-titled debut studio album (1980). A re-recorded version of the song was released on 2 May 1980 as the album's third and final single, reaching number 13 on the UK Singles Chart and becoming OMD's first top-40 entry. As with debut single "Electricity", "Messages" features a melodic synth break instead of sung chorus.
Classics: The Best of Sarah Brightman is a European-only compilation album by classical crossover soprano Sarah Brightman. An earlier version of Classics was released Worldwide, except for Europe, in 2001. The cover art for both albums are the same, but the track listings are different.
Live from the Royal Albert Hall is a live album and DVD by American rock band The Killers. It was released on November 10, 2009 in the UK, Canada and the US. The album is pulled from two nights the band performed at the Royal Albert Hall in July 2009, and also includes footage from festival dates the band headlined during the middle months of 2009. A CD of live material accompanies the DVD as part of the package. The artwork resembles the artwork for the band's third studio album, Day & Age, and was designed by artist Paul Normansell.

Live at the Royal Albert Hall is the debut live album by Scottish recording artist Emeli Sandé. The album was released on 18 February 2013. The set features the headline concert filmed at London's Royal Albert Hall on 11 November 2012. The set includes Sandé's hit singles, and songs from her number-one selling debut album Our Version of Events. The set also includes a cover from one of Sandé's idols, Nina Simone, as well as two new songs, "Enough" and "Pluto", which are due to be released on her second studio album. Professor Green made a brief appearance during "Read All About It, Pt. III" and Labrinth and Sandé performed "Beneath Your Beautiful" during the encore.
Step by Step: The Greatest Hits is the third compilation album released by Scottish pop rock quartet Wet Wet Wet. Released on 25 November 2013, the album features three previously unreleased recordings, "Step by Step", "Sad Kinda Love", and "Playin' Like a Kid". "Step by Step" was also released as the lead single from the album a week prior to its release. The album peaked at #53 on the UK Albums Chart, becoming the band's lowest charting release to date.
Live at the Royal Albert Hall is the fourth live album by the American rock band Alter Bridge. Recorded on October 2 and 3, 2017, at Royal Albert Hall in London, England, the band played two sold-out shows with the 52-piece Parallax Orchestra, conducted by Simon Dobson. For the occasion, the band performed songs that are rarely played, such as The End Is Here and Words Darker Than Their Wings, the latter receiving its live debut.
